What have you gained through one year's study of tourism major?

I am a student majoring in tourism management, and I have completed all major courses with excellent results, including: tour guide business, basic knowledge of tour guides, Chinese and foreign ethnic customs, introduction to tourism, tourism regulations, travel agency management practice, tourism marketing, tourism communication etiquette, catering service and management, hotel lobby and guest room business management, spoken tourism English, China tourism geography, and hotel human resource management.

Looking back on this year's campus life and social practice, there are pains, joys, sorrows, smiles, failures and more successes. I always aim at improving my comprehensive quality and personal ability and all-round development. He has established a correct outlook on life, values and world outlook, constantly challenging himself, enriching himself and surpassing himself, laying a solid foundation for realizing the value of life. In this bumpy process, I am trying to consolidate my professional knowledge, and more importantly, I have learned a lot of book knowledge in this process. While constantly pursuing progress and self-appreciation, learning is still my main business now. I also understand that only by mastering my own career can I continuously improve my life value and create more social value for the society. For this reason, I study my major diligently, and I am meticulous about knowledge. My achievements have been affirmed by teachers and classmates, and I won the second prize of the annual scholarship of the college.

Because of my cheerful personality, I can meet different people; Approachable, easy to get along with classmates or teachers; Be an honest man and keep your word; Willing to help others, can share some troubles in work or life for others; Be cautious and think twice before you act; Go all out to do things, and will not give up halfway easily; Be fearless in times of crisis and be able to handle emergencies calmly.

In daily life, I attach great importance to physical exercise. I have good psychological and physical quality, excellent physical performance and up-to-standard physical exercise. I have a wide range of interests and love life, especially singing and painting. I won the prize in the calligraphy competition and the handwritten newspaper competition.

During the summer vacation, I recommended myself by virtue of my proficient oral English, and applied for an internship as a tour guide at the domestic tour headquarters of Guang Zhi Tourism International Travel Service Co., Ltd., which was well received by the company and guests in the course of my work. I know how to use my spare time to acquire more knowledge and experience. Through work and activities, my comprehensive ability has been significantly enhanced.

I still have my own shortcomings and deficiencies in my life and work, but I dare to correct myself and improve myself. I firmly believe that I have the most precious youth and knowledge in my life.
