Introduction to Jiangxi’s red attractions

The red attractions in Jiangxi include: the Long March Starting Point Memorial Garden, the Anyuan Road Miners' Movement Memorial Hall, the Ruijin Central Revolutionary Base History Museum, the August 1st Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall, and the Central Soviet Area Anti-"Encirclement and Suppression" War Memorial Hall.

1. Memorial Park of the Long March Starting Point.

Located in the eastern section of Dujiang Avenue, Yudu County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, it was formerly known as the Central Red Army’s First Long March Crossing Monument Park. It consists of a small entrance square, theme sculptures, assembly square, memorial square, and the Memorial Hall of the starting point of the Central Red Army's Long March.

2. Anyuan Road Miners’ Movement Memorial Hall.

Anyuan is the cradle of the Chinese labor movement, the birthplace of modern Chinese industry, and the origin and main outbreak site of the Autumn Harvest Uprising on the border between Hunan and Jiangxi. The Anyuan Road Miners' Movement Memorial Hall is a special museum created to collect and protect the cultural relics of the Anyuan workers' movement, and to study and publicize the history of Anyuan's revolutionary struggle.

3. Ruijin Central Revolutionary Base History Museum.

During the Second Civil Revolutionary War, the Communist Party of China led the Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army to establish the Provisional Central Government of the Chinese Soviet Union in Ruijin. In order to carry forward this period of history and reflect the difficult and tortuous course of the people's political power, this magnificent Central Revolutionary Base History Museum was specially built.

4. August 1st Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall.

It is located at Ximachi at the west end of Zhongshan Road, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. At the front of the door hangs a gilt horizontal plaque of "Nanchang August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall" written by Chen Yi. The memorial hall features a large number of historical documents, charts, photos, Cultural relics and inscriptions by veteran comrades who participated in the Nanchang Uprising vividly reproduce the glorious historical chapter of the Nanchang Uprising.

5. Central Soviet Area Anti-"Encirclement and Suppression" War Memorial Hall.

Located in Ningdu County, it is the only military memorial hall in the country that reflects the five anti-"encirclement and suppression" campaigns in the Central Soviet Area. It fills the gap in our country that there is no memorial hall that comprehensively displays this glorious history of our party and army.
