Which city is the first hydrogen-fueled tram in the world?
Hydrogen fuel cell technology is the mainstream direction of clean energy development and utilization in the world. The direct electrochemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen is the reverse process of electrolytic water, with high energy density, low noise and no pollution. The maximum temperature of power generation reaction is not more than 100℃, and no nitrogen oxides are produced. The only emission is water, which is really "zero emission".
After more than four years of research, CRRC Tangshan Company took the lead in breaking through a series of key technologies such as fuel cell/supercapacitor hybrid traction and control for the first time in the world. The developed tram completely eliminated the pantograph and catenary, filled the gap in this field, and realized "zero emission" of pollutants and "no net" operation in the whole process.
Tangxu Railway has a history of 136 years. In order to build a tourism industry with industrial characteristics, Tangshan City has made full use of the attractions of "China Railway Zero Kilometer" and "Old Industrial Base" to turn Tangshan South Station, Kailuan Mine Park, Qi Xin 1889 Industrial Park and Nanhu Fengjing into "China Railway Source Tour".
It is reported that the Tangshan industrial tourism route uses hydrogen fuel cell trams, and there is no need to set up catenary, and there is no need to install a third track and charging piles along the way, completely retaining the original appearance of the century-old Tangxu Railway. The train adopts the world's most advanced 100% low floor technology, and the floor of the carriage is only 35 cm away from the rail surface, and there is no platform; The minimum turning radius is only 19 meters, and the track can be directly laid along the existing urban roads for ground driving and parking, which is convenient for passengers to ride. The whole line runs 13.84 km, and the tram only needs 15 minutes for a quick hydrogenation, with a continuous running speed of 40 km and a maximum running speed of 70 km/h.
