Shanxi

Shanxi Province, west of Taihang Mountain, is located in the eastern part of the Loess Plateau, with deep loess and criss-crossing ravines. The main tourist attractions in the territory are Hengshan Mountain in Beiyue, Wutai Mountain, one of the four famous Buddhist mountains, Hanging Temple, Jinci Temple, which is known as the first scenic spot in Shanxi, and Yungang Grottoes in Datong, one of the "Four Grottoes Art Treasures" in China. Wutaishan scenic spot

Wutai Mountain Scenic Area, located in the northeast of Xinzhou District, Shanxi Province, is known as the "roof of North China", and the highest point of Yemen Peak in Beitai is 3058 meters above sea level. It is a tourist area integrating natural scenery, historical relics, ancient architecture art, Buddhist culture, folk customs and valley customs, and summer vacation and leisure.

Hengshan Kong Xuan Temple

Mount Hengshan, located in the south of Hunyuan and the north of the Five Mountains, has been a Taoist resort since ancient times. There are Tianfengling, Cuipingfeng, Jinlong Gorge, Gusaoya, Feitian Grottoes, Qianfo Ridge, and Hangkong Temple. Among them, Hangkong Temple is located in Jinlong Gorge at the foot of Hengshan Mountain, about 80 kilometers away from Datong City. It is said that it was built by a monk named Ran in the Northern Wei Dynasty, with a history of 1400 years.

The mountains here are steep, with hundreds of meters of upright cliffs on both sides, like an axe chopping. Hanging Temple is built on this cliff, or it is just like a cliff attached to it, giving people a feeling of being out of reach. Looking up, I saw layers of halls, supported by only a dozen chopsticks-like wooden pillars. It is indeed an architectural miracle at all times and in all countries. At the same time, the Hanging Temple is also a rare temple that integrates Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism.

Yungang Caves

Yungang Grottoes, located in the northern cliff of Wuzhou Mountain in the western suburb of Datong City, Shanxi Province, is one of the largest ancient grottoes in China, with a length of 1000 meters from east to west, 45 existing main grottoes, 252 large and small grottoes and more than 5 1000 stone carvings. Hosted by the famous Yao Tan monk, it was excavated in the Northern Wei Dynasty during the peaceful period (AD 460-465), with a history of more than 500 years/kloc-0. Ying Xian Wooden Pagoda

Yingxian Wooden Pagoda is located in Yingxian County, 20 kilometers away from Datong. Built in the second year of Liao Qingning (AD 1056), it has a history of more than 900 years. The tower is 67. 13m high, which is the oldest and tallest wooden tower building in the world.

Jinci

Jinci Temple, located in the southwest of Taiyuan City, was built in the Northern Wei Dynasty to commemorate Zhou Wuwang's second son, Yu Shu. The temples, pavilions, pavilions, small bridges and trees here are in harmony, surrounded by mountains and waters, rich in cultural relics and historic sites, and towering old trees. Twin Towers Temple

Shuangta Temple is located in the southeast suburb of Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, formerly known as Shuangta Temple. Because of the towering twin towers in the temple, it is also called Shuangta Temple. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, the monk Buddha was built on the throne. The main buildings in the existing temple are brick structures, and the main hall is a two-story pavilion with built-in brick-carved algae wells, which is exquisite and elegant. There are two brick pagodas beside the temple, named Wenxuan. Plane octagon, 13 floor, 54.7 meters high, carved with a bucket arch under the eaves, decorated with colored glazed animals on the eaves, gorgeous and spectacular. There is a staircase in the tower, which leads to the top floor. Looking from the window, the scenery of Taiyuan is vivid. When people enter and leave Taiyuan, the Twin Towers Temple first comes into view and becomes a symbol of Taiyuan.

Qiao's Family Compound

Qiaojiabao Village in Qixian County, 50 kilometers south of Taiyuan, forms a one-day tour pattern with the famous scenic spots in Qixian County, such as Zhouyi Palace, yanshou temple, Jiugou Scenic Area, Qujia Courtyard, Mingqing Street and Changyuchuan.

The Qiao Family Courtyard was built during the Qianlong period. Although it has spanned two centuries, it has maintained its natural architectural style. Ancient City of Pingyao
