Yichang Port Group Yichang Port Liu Dagang District

It is a comprehensive port area that undertakes the functions of passenger transport, freight transport and tourism in the dam area of the Three Gorges Dam. It has jurisdiction over Zigui Mao Ping Passenger Tourist Port, Zigui Freight Port, Taiping River Tourist Passenger Port in Yiling District and Xingshan Xiakou Freight Port.

Zigui Mao Ping Port * * * has five large-scale passenger and cargo berths and 1 water-land combined passenger station, which undertakes the transportation tasks of passengers, materials and ro-ro ships in southwest China. Taipingxi Port is located in the upstream of the approach channel of the Three Gorges Dam, with an annual designed passenger throughput of 1 10,000 passengers and cargo throughput of10.5 million tons. The annual design throughput of Xingshan Xiakou Freight Terminal is 400,000 tons/year, and the throughput capacity is 433,000 tons/year. It is the place where goods are exported from Xingshan County and northwest Hubei after the completion of the Three Gorges Reservoir. The three ports will become important "hub ports, originating ports and transit ports" for waterway passenger and cargo transportation in the Three Gorges area. The land-water passenger tourist port area is the largest land-water passenger tourist center in Yichang area, with five standard passenger terminals and an annual passenger throughput of 2 million passengers. Every day, passenger ships are sent to major cities along the Yangtze River. There are secondary bus stations, which are sent to more than 50 routes across the country and send 400,000 passengers every year. It is an important transportation hub in Yichang.

Container port area of water transport port:

The special wharf for container import and export at the water transport port has a multi-purpose berth of 1.500 tons and a general cargo berth of 1 level, with an annual throughput of 860,000 tons and 40,000 TEUs. The main project of the wharf is the high-piled beam-slab trestle wharf with the largest water level drop in the Yangtze River. The wharf is under customs supervision, closed management and one-vote real-time management. Container transportation is becoming an important transportation mode of modern logistics with its efficient, convenient, safe and zero cargo damage service. A comprehensive port area that deals in bulk goods such as coal, phosphate rock (powder), sand and gravel, bulk cement and chemical raw materials. With two ports, three modern production lines, complete lifting equipment and transportation machinery, and an annual loading and unloading capacity of 3 million tons, it is one of the important transportation ports of the Group.
