5. Wucaiwan Town, Xinjiang

Qicai Bend is located in the north of Jimsar County, Jizhou, Xinjiang, 235 kilometers northeast of Urumqi. It is a rare and colorful world on the vast Gobi desert. The core of Qicai Bay is Qicai City, which is named after its shape like a city wall. The square garden of Colorful City is about three square kilometers, which is a low hill group composed of mud and shale, and has many colors such as crimson, yellow, orange, green, cyan, gray-green, gray-black, gray-white and so on. Yamakaji Scenic Area is located in the north of Jimsar County, with an altitude of 580 meters and a linear distance of100km, with convenient transportation. Yamakaji is actually a red hilly area in the east of Junggar Basin, with a width of about 2 kilometers from east to west and a length of about 5 kilometers from north to south, with a total area of about 10 square kilometers. Depart from Urumqi, pass Fukang, drive along National Highway 2 16 to Altay, and enter Caiwuwan and Dahuangshan Expressway. Dahuangshan service area is about 15km. Arrive at Xingfu Road, go straight into Jimsar County, turn left to Altay, and drive about 85km to Caiwu Bay.

Caiwu Bay is located in the northern edge of Gurbantunggut Desert and Kalamaili Nature Reserve. There are antelope, foxes, wolves, wild donkeys, wild horses and other protected animals here.

Twenty years ago, Caiwu Bay was a desolate Gobi, with only oil people and wild animals. Since the discovery of the largest open-pit coal mine in Asia, there have been more than a dozen power plants here, many of which are state-owned enterprises.

Today, Colorful Bay is still a tourist attraction, including Gu Quan, Agate Beach, Colorful City and Fossil Ditch. The most famous is Colorful City, because the film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was shot here, and I watched the shooting process from a distance.

9. Xinjiang Qitai Tourism Raiders

Introduction: Zone 5 18 scenic spot, Tianshan Mountain (there are such strange slopes in many places in China), 10,000 mu wheat field, Hanshui Music City, wooden plank road and Heilaoba. The scenic spot was approved as a national forest park in 2003. Jiangbulak has water, grassland and spruce, and the most famous is the ten thousand mu wheat field.

Accommodation: You can take the bus to stay in the Mongolian yurt at the end of the scenic spot, with about 200 rooms, which can accommodate 10 people. Of course, you can also choose to live in Qitai County first and drive into the scenic spot the next morning. Some of them are served by Kazakhs, and the most important one is of course Xinjiang mutton. Roast mutton, choose sheep on the spot, but the mutton is absolutely authentic. The mutton in Xinjiang has no smell. Half baked, half stewed, and soup. This is the best thing I have ever eaten! 1kg or so 120 yuan (with bone scale).

Note: It will be cold at night because it is a mountainous area. Remember to put on more clothes. If you live in a yurt, you must add coal regularly to ensure strong firepower. Don't miss the gas station on the road. Refuel the gas station at any time. Sometimes the gas station in expressway may not open. Carry your ID card with you for future reference.

1) Depart from the starting point to the southeast, drive along East Street for 450 meters, pass Misini on the right, turn right ahead and enter Jiefang East Street.

2) Drive 690 meters along Jiefang East Street, pass the hisense electric store on the right for about 80 meters, and turn left into Gucheng South Street.

3) Drive along Gucheng South Street for 960m and go straight to S303.

4) Drive along S303 1 1.3km straight.
