Brief introduction of Qianhu National Wetland Park

Qianhu National Wetland Park is located in the middle reaches of He Qian River Basin, Qianyang County, Baoji City, China. It is a typical wetland in the Loess Plateau of northwest China, with the characteristics of river wetland as the main feature, which integrates the characteristics of river wetland, pond wetland and swamp wetland. Qianhu National Wetland Park is located in the east of Qianyang County 1 km, and it is the largest artificial lake in Guanzhong area of Shaanxi Province. Started on July 1970 and completed on July 198 1. Here, the lake is wide, the mountains on both sides are undulating, the water reflects the high gorge, and the forest is dyed. It is a large-scale modern comprehensive tourist area integrating forest eco-sightseeing, water entertainment, leisure and holiday, fishing and hunting. The center of the scenic spot is 5 kilometers away from Qianyang County and 34 kilometers away from Baoji City. The first-class highway is connected, which is smooth and fast. The total area of the scenic spot is 2 134.4 hectares, including 653.66 hectares of water surface. The scenic spot is like a "treasure gourd", with a length of 17km and a width of 2 km. The narrow place is only over 300 meters. Depending on Longshan in the south and Qianli Plain in the north, it is known as "a pearl on the Loess Plateau" with tree-lined, lakes and mountains and picturesque clear water.
