What are the applicable conditions and application procedures for Australia's 10-year frequent flyer visa?

What is a ten-year "frequent flyer" visa?

Australia holds a China passport and applies for a ten-year "frequent traveler" visitor visa in Chinese mainland, which is suitable for short-term travel and business visits;

For tourist series visas (600 categories), China passport applicants can fill in Chinese forms and submit applications online at the Australian Visa Center from now on;

During the validity period, visa holders can travel to Australia for many times or for business, and the time for each trip to Australia should be controlled within 3 months. At the same time, in any 24-month period, the cumulative stay in Australia cannot exceed 12 months. In addition, like other visitor visas, the ten-year "frequent flyer" visitor visa is restricted by the visa condition that you cannot study for more than three months. Applicants should also note that Australia generally only allows applicants to hold one visa at a time. This means that if the applicant plans to apply for other visas in the future, such as a student visa or a work visa, the ten-year "frequent flyer" visa will be invalid.

The ten-year "frequent flyer" visa is a supplement to the existing visitor visa products, and applicants need to pay an additional fee of 1000 Australian dollars on the basis of the ordinary visitor visa application fee (135 Australian dollars). In addition, the applicant does not need to pay the service fee for routine delivery to the visa center, but only needs to pay the biometric information collection fee of RMB 190 yuan.

The ten-year "frequent flyer" visitor visa is currently in the initial stage of trial, so there are reservation restrictions. The Australian Immigration and Border Protection Agency will evaluate the application process and visa acceptance later.

How to apply for a ten-year "frequent flyer" visa?

It should be noted that the ten-year "frequent flyer" visa only supports online application at present, which is different from the application process of ordinary visitor visa, and is mainly divided into the following three steps:

Step 1: Make an appointment to collect biometric information online.

Go to the website of visa center to make an online appointment for biological information collection:/Australia/China/. Booking the entrance is the same as booking an ordinary visitor visa. Just select "Biometrics" in the category to make an appointment.

Step 2: Go to the visa center to collect biometric information.

After the appointment is successful, the applicant needs to go to the reserved Australian visa application center and enter the biometric information. After the entry is completed, the applicant will receive a receipt containing the biometric information number on the spot;

Step 3: Submit the application on ImmiAccount.

After receiving the receipt, the applicant can apply online through the ImmiAccount system of the Department of Immigration and Border Protection, and the Australian Visa Center can also provide online application assistance services for an additional fee.
