Why did Japan build a moon billboard?

Compared with other countries, Japan has long thought of ways to grab the moon resources and is ready to advertise there.

According to Business Insider, Ispace, a Japanese space tourism startup, is going to invest 90 million dollars to develop a lunar lander and finally complete a successful landing mission.

This is a purely commercial activity, because both the spacecraft and the probe car landing on the moon should be marked with the corporate Logo and image used in the advertisement. To put it bluntly, advertisements should land on the moon.

It should be noted that space can be explored by all countries, and no sovereign entity can own any celestial bodies, so such measures are feasible within a reasonable range.

Some experts emphasize that large-scale advertisements such as billboards of space marketing companies may increase light pollution and make the night sky brighter, thus affecting astronomical observation, interfering with navigation satellites that use star trackers and solar sensors for calibration accuracy, and becoming a thorn in the public's side.
