Sandaohao Xihan Village Site

On the alluvial plain of Sandaohao Village in the northern suburb of Liaoyang City, on the west bank of Taizi River. It covers an area of about 2 square kilometers. This is the first large-scale excavation of the Han Village site from 65438 to 0955 in China. Two sections of paved roads about 7 meters wide were also excavated, leaving rut marks. From here to the south 1.5 km is the downtown area of Liaoyang today. Liaoyang, called Xiangping in the Western Han Dynasty, was the political, economic and cultural center of northeast China in ancient times. This site is of great value for studying the production, life and funeral customs in rural areas of Han Dynasty before 2000.
