My story and prose about the ancient city of Chang'an
The first encounter came from a trip to Dunhuang and Qinghai Lake in 2014. Because the return air ticket from Xi'an was the cheapest, in order to save money and see the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, we arranged to fly from Xi'an to the last stop of the trip. Round fertilizer.
However, when we met for the first time, I felt terrible. I was shocked by the chaos at Xi'an Railway Station! For the first time, I learned that not all police officers are good people!
Because we had to catch a flight that night, we wanted to seize the time during the day to visit famous attractions such as the Terracotta Warriors and Horses and Huaqing Pool. After the group of people stored their suitcases at the train station, they hurriedly looked for a direct tourist bus like You5. However, they didn't know where to take the bus in the square, so they asked the police uncle next to them for help.
Following the direction he pointed, we walked to a tourist bus. I felt something was wrong, so I asked first how much the fare was? 20 yuan/person! That's even more wrong. I remember the online guide said it was only 5 yuan, which was very cheap. I then asked, are you traveling for 5 yuan? Of course not, go, go, we are running a regular tourist route, it is much more advanced than Tour 5!
Then we asked many store passers-by one after another, and finally found it in the West Square. It was only 200 meters away from the place where we initially asked the police uncle, but it took a long circle!
One of the most striking features of the real Tour 5 is that there is a large loudspeaker hanging next to the car that repeats loudly, shouting, regular state-owned buses, direct to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Huaqing Pool, the fare is 5 yuan, tens of millions Don’t get on the wrong private bus! This reminds me that many tourists miss the bus.
Fortunately, we finally arrived at the Terracotta Warriors and Horses and saw these 180-meter-tall little clay figures.
The second time we met, I was assigned to this ancient city due to a job transfer. At that time, I was extremely repulsive, but gradually my heart was softened by the colleagues around me and the snacks on the streets.
I like Sister Liu Yan who brings me fruits and walnuts from the morning market in summer, Sister Ji who helps me sew annual party dance clothes in winter, and Sister Fan who I call her whenever I have nothing to do. They never tire of telling me I don’t understand the blind spots at work, I like leaders with quick thinking and strong logic, I like roommates who like to drink porridge and make gnocchi, and I like my human resources colleagues who always praise me for my exquisiteness.
I like to walk around the city wall at the south gate on weekends. I look at the bluestone bricks with names written on each one under my feet and the noisy morning market outside the wall. I feel that this kind of life smells really good. .
I like to try a new kind of pasta every week, such as trouser belt noodles, steamed noodles, hot rice skin, fried potato and yam. As a southerner who has only loved rice since childhood, I also enjoy eating it.
I like the night view of the Bell and Drum Tower. It stands in the center of the city. It is majestic and has a sense of age. You can feel the aura of the ancient capital of the 13th dynasty.
I like the simplicity of the people in northern Shaanxi, the intimacy of calling me a girl, the novelty of sleeping in a cave dwelling for the first time is still exciting in my heart, and the red feeling of this city in northern Shaanxi is particularly strong, spending time with my mother The feeling of gratitude when we visited Yan'an Nursery together is still vivid in my mind.
I like the naming of the streets in the ancient city of Chang'an, especially the two characters Weiyang and Changle Weiyang. It sounds so nice and picturesque.
I also like Shaanxi Expo, the lanterns in the Tang Dynasty Furong Garden, the different strings of lights hanging on each street in winter, the Yisu Society I pass by on my way to work every day, and I like hearing your authentic words. In the Shaanxi dialect, chatting is called 谝, and people who are not clear-minded are called burning.
It is not the best city, nor is it the most prosperous, but I still hope that I can experience this ancient city more.
