Bating Square is an important place for holding rallies and festivals. If the capital Hanoi is the heart of Vietnam, Bating Square can be said to be the heart of Hanoi. Duzhusi

It is said that 1049, Li Taizong dreamed that Guanyin Bodhisattva was holding a baby and standing on the lotus platform in the pool. Soon after, Li Taizong got a son in his later years, but ordered to build a lotus-shaped temple, so Duzhu Temple was like a lotus. The original temple was bombed in 1954 when France withdrew its troops, leaving only stone pillars. 1955 rebuilt on the original site. The scale is smaller than the original building, but the artistic style remains the same.
