1, Hukou Waterfall

Hukou Waterfall is a national scenic spot and a national AAAAA tourist attraction. It borders Hukou Town, Jixian County, Linfen City, Shanxi Province in the east and Hukou Town, Yichuan County, Yan 'an City, Shaanxi Province in the west. It is a tourist attraction of the two provinces. Hukou Waterfall is the second largest waterfall in China and the largest yellow waterfall in the world. The Yellow River flows here, with steep stone walls on both sides and narrow estuaries like Hukou, hence the name Hukou Waterfall.

2. Yungang grottoes

Yungang Grottoes, formerly known as Lingyan Temple and Shifo Temple. Located in the southern foot of Wuzhou Mountain in the western suburb of Datong City, Shanxi Province, it is located on the northern bank of Wuzhou River. The highest point of Wuzhou Mountain is called Yungang, hence the name Yungang Grottoes. Grottoes are dug along the mountain, stretching from east to west 1 km. The cave area is divided into three areas: east, middle and west according to the natural mountain. There are 45 main caves and 209 auxiliary caves, and the carving area is1.8000 square meters. The tallest statue is 17m and the smallest is 2cm. There are more than 1 100 shrines and more than 59,000 buddhas of different sizes.

3. Pingyao Ancient City

Pingyao Ancient City, located in Pingyao County, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, was built in Zhou Xuanwang period and expanded in the third year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1370), with a history of more than 2,800 years. It still retains the basic features of the county seat in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and is the most complete existing ancient city in the Han area of China. In Pingyao ancient city, there are more than 300 cultural relics and nearly 4000 traditional buildings.

4. Wutai Mountain

Wutai Mountain ranks first among the four famous Buddhist mountains in China. It is called "Golden Wutai" and is the Dojo of Manjusri Bodhisattva. Wutai Mountain is not a mountain, but a series of peaks located on the roof of North China, with the highest elevation of 306 1 m. Wutai Mountain is the only Buddhist Dojo in China where Qing Temple (Han Buddhism) and Huang Temple (Tibetan Buddhism) complement each other. The famous ones are: Xiantong Temple, Tayuan Temple, Bodhisattva Top, Nanshan Temple, Dailuoding Temple, Guangji Temple, Wanfo Pavilion and so on.

5. Yanmenguan

Yanmenguan, located about 20 kilometers north of Daixian County, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, China, is an important pass on the Great Wall. Known as "the first pass in China", "there are nine jams in the world, and the Wild Goose Gate takes the lead". It is called "three customs" together with Ning Wuguan and Pianguan.
