1, Hanging Temple

Hangkong Temple is located between the cliffs of Cuiping Peak on the west side of Jinlong Gorge in Hunyuan Hengshan, Datong City, Shanxi Province. Known as "hanging temple, half day high, three ponytails hanging in the air", it is famous for its precipitousness.

8. Shuanglin Temple

9. Wutai Mountain Xiantong Temple

Xiantong Temple, also known as Daxiantong Temple, Dafu Lingjiu Temple, Garden Temple, Dahuayan Temple, Daxiang Xiantong Temple, Daguanguo Shengguang Yongming Temple and Yongming Temple, is located on the north side of Taihuai Town in the central area of Wutai Mountain in Shanxi.

Xiantong Temple is the largest temple in Wutai Mountain. It was built in the Yongping period of Emperor Hanming, formerly known as Dafu Lingjiu Temple. In the 26th year of Qing Emperor Kangxi (A.D. 1687), it was renamed Daxiantong Temple, which is one of the earliest Buddhist temples in China.

The existing buildings of Xiantong Temple are of the Qing Dynasty scale, with an area of about 80,000 square meters and more than 400 buildings of various types, most of which are Ming and Qing Dynasties.

The hall and wings are arranged neatly, the central axis is clear, and the affiliated hall is symmetrical left and right. On the central axis, there are seven halls, including the Water and Land Hall, the Great Manjusri Hall, the Daxiong Hall, the Infinite Hall, the Thousand Bowls Manjusri Hall, the Bronze Hall and the Hougao Hall.

10, Chongfu Temple Scenic Area in Shuozhou

The main hall of Chongfu Temple is Tommy Hall, which was built in the third year of Emperor Xizong of Jin Dynasty (1 143). It has a history of more than 800 years and is very precious. The temple is seven rooms wide, 40.96 meters wide and 48 rafters deep, 22.5438+0 meters. The temple rests on the top of the mountain, with a single eaves and a total height of about 2 1 m.

The temple is located on a tall pedestal, 2.4 meters high, and there is a spacious platform in front of the pedestal, which makes the temple tall and magnificent.
