Shandong coastal city tourism
Before I went to Qingdao, Weihai, Yantai, Penglai Changdao, I had to do a lot of preparation work, listen to the opinions of seniors, and then make a more detailed plan myself, and then arrange the basic route. It's cheapest to buy air tickets 3 weeks in advance. I booked them on Ctrip. My original plan was to fly to Yantai and return from Qingdao. But the air ticket to Yantai was a bit expensive, so I bought a round-trip ticket to Qingdao on Shanghai Airlines (660 yuan + 220 yuan). But it’s best to buy a direct flight so you won’t be delayed easily. The one we bought was cheap and went through Yanji, so it was easy to be delayed by 2 or 3 hours. There are quite a few people going this route in July, which is also the peak season. Qingdao is also where the Olympic Games will be held, and local housing prices are quite expensive. The group we went out with was 3 women and 1 man, so it was uneconomical to book a room. The final decision was to make it a family hotel. Book 2 weeks in advance and you can save dozens of dollars.
d1: We took a flight from Shanghai to Qingdao Liuting Airport. Since we checked the arrival status of this flight for a week, it was basically delayed every day. Since we had to arrive in Weihai on the first night, so We decided to charter a car. This decision turned out to be a wise decision, because the flight delay was quite serious. The plane that was supposed to arrive at 15:00 was delayed until 18:30 that day. However, the last bus to Weihai is at 18:00. So it was a wise decision to charter a car. Chartering a car from Qingdao to Weihai costs about 700 yuan. We found a very nice driver, Master Li, in the early stage, and the price was 600 yuan. His mobile phone number is 1365544265?5. If you take the Weihai bus, you can register at Exit 2 of Liuting Airport. A bus will pick you up at the airport for 90 yuan/person.
It takes about 4 hours to reach Weihai. The price of our stay is 200 yuan/day. The person we contacted is Mr. Zhang at 1595386678?4. Mr. Zhang is very nice and provides maps and travel routes. If you don’t know how to ask, he will definitely explain it clearly to you. Because I booked in advance, it was 80 yuan/day cheaper. Conditions are there all day long. The location is very good. It is between the bathing beach and Weihai Station. It is very close to the coastal area and is located in the city center. Weihai Bathing Beach is a bit far away from the bus station and train station. Taking a taxi is estimated to cost around 40 yuan. The starting price of a taxi in Weihai is 7 yuan.
d2: We only have one day to stay in Weihai, so we choose one of Liugong Island and Chengshantou. We chose Chengshantou. Departing at 7 o'clock, we took a taxi to Weihai Bus Station for 15 yuan and bought a ticket to Chengshantou for 23 yuan/person. There is a train every half hour, and the train departs regularly. It basically took about 90 minutes to get there. We bought a combined ticket of Chengshantou + Hailu Island for 120 yuan/person. If you want to visit all the classics, you must charter a bus, because there is only one free shuttle bus, which goes around all the attractions every hour. The scenery at Chengshantou is quite good, and the sound of the sea water is surging. It really feels like the end to me. The free shuttle bus runs from Chengshantou to Hailu Island Scenic Area on the hour, and then takes a boat to Hailu Island. The scenery on Hailu Island is beautiful and there are many seagulls. You can finish the tour in less than 30 minutes. The free shuttle bus goes to Hailu Island every 35 minutes. If you are unlucky, you will have to wait for a long time. We were particularly unlucky, but you can discuss the price with someone else's chartered car parked nearby and it will cost you a mountain of money. We ended up paying 7 yuan/person to get back to the mountain. There is nothing to eat in Chengshantou, so you basically have to bring some dry food. It was already 2 pm when we returned to the city of Weihai. We took a taxi directly to the Li Chao Niu Soup Restaurant on Guangming Road recommended by travel friends. (Turn right in front of Weihai Building, cross an intersection and then go left on the next road for about 50m) Oxtail Soup ( 40 yuan) didn’t taste good to me, and I was very disappointed. It tasted so light that I had to add salt, pepper, and onions myself. I added a lot to get the flavor.
Then we took a taxi to the bathing beach for 15 yuan. It was our wise decision to go to the sea in Weihai. Friends who are planning to go to the sea to play in the water, the water in Weihai is worth swimming in. Later, you didn’t want to go down after seeing the ones in Qingdao and Yantai. . The water in Weihai is the most comfortable, and the sand is also very comfortable, allowing you to bury yourself alive. It costs 20 yuan to store bags there, and 2 yuan to change clothes. Remember to bargain. Swimming suit 20 yuan/piece. The sea motorboat is also very exciting. Let’s try it. Remember to bargain, our price is 40/person.
The Koreatown in Weihai is near Li Chao, so it’s not that interesting. It’s similar to Qipu Road in Shanghai, and it feels even better than Qipu Road in Shanghai. There is a seafood street along the pier, the kind that are packaged by tour groups and are not very affordable. Walking along the seaside is the New Bund. It is said to be designed by Shanghainese and is similar to the Bund. It took 30 minutes to walk to the accommodation.
D3: Depart for Yantai at 7 o'clock. The ticket from Weihai to Yantai is 25 yuan per person (including insurance, you have to tell us in advance if you don’t want insurance, and it will be calculated directly without asking). It takes about 90 minutes to arrive in Yantai. The person who picked us up was Ms. Liu, who was very nice and provided us with maps and travel routes. The self-service apartment provided to us (280 yuan/day) was also in a good location, with a good environment and easy access. Take bus 8 downstairs for 1 yuan/person to Chaoyang Road. Across from it is the Changyu Wine Culture Museum, which is not very interesting, but there is a wine tasting. After coming out, we went to the East Fort. Since we didn’t go to Liugong Island, we wanted to take a look at the fort. Very disappointed. Then walk to Moon Bay and there is a moon sculpture. Take Route 17 directly and go back for sightseeing along the coast. Yantai is really not that interesting. Arrive downstairs at the residence.
There is a Yongsheng Restaurant near Jiulong Road. We had a seafood dinner, which was not expensive and quite affordable. Downstairs, the catfish and eggplant casserole at Taigui Casserole Shop on Casserole Street is very delicious. The feeling left in Yantai is that the food was good.
D4: Departing at 7 o'clock, Penglai contacted Xiaoge 1379123250?7 and stayed at his house for 80 yuan/day including 3 meals. Xiaoge is really nice. He can help you with everything in Nagashima Penglai. He also helped me a lot when you were making plans in the early stage. We live in Yantai, and he helped us find a car in the morning to take us directly from our residence to his home (25 yuan/person). The driver who took us to Penglai was Master Xin at 0535568506?9. I left my things and went directly to Long Island. The ferry ticket to Changdao is 24 yuan per person including insurance. Remember to bring your ID card to Changdao because registration is required. It takes about 40 minutes to reach Long Island. You must charter a car when visiting Changdao. Because the price of gas rose sharply before coming here, the originally promised 120 yuan also increased to 150 yuan. The chartered driver was introduced by Xiaoge, Miss Gao 1356255873?3. Miss Gao is also very nice. A joint ticket for the 6 major attractions on the island is 150 yuan/person. In the morning we first went to Jiuzhang Cliff and Crescent Bay in the north. Jiuzhangya Scenic Area is indeed worth a visit. It is a geological park where you can see the endless sea and steep cliffs. Crescent Bay is a beach where you can swim, and there are also activities such as seaside bicycles. We went out on a yacht, remember to bargain, 25 yuan/person. The rocks by Crescent Bay are the best, remember to pick them up. At noon, I went to Xiaoge and contacted a farmhouse for 25 yuan/person. In the afternoon, visit the south: Linhai, Fengshan and Wangfu Reef. Fengshan is a little far away from Linhai, so be sure to make it clear when chartering a car. When Miss Gao took us from Fengshan to Linhai, she saw many people walking on the road and told us that some drivers let tourists walk on their own in order to make money. Fengshan doesn't mean much, it's just a sculptured bird. Linhai Park is very fun. We descended from the 369 steps to the beach, which saves effort, and then went up the mountain via the winding mountain path to reach the highest point of the forest. Due to the heavy fog, I could not see the dividing line between the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea. I heard that the line is very beautiful. This is our regret. We made another wise decision. The foggy weather gave us an ominous omen, and we felt that the ship might be stopped. So a quick trip to Lookout Cay. We went to the pier, and sure enough we got on the last boat to Penglai and the boat stopped. I remember that it was easy for boats to stop on Long Island in foggy weather. Normally the last boat is at 18:00.
Xiao Ge’s house is very close to the beach. He took us to the beach at night. Due to the heavy fog, we didn’t see anything. But it was already interesting to hear him say it.
D5: Depart for Penglai Pavilion at 8 o'clock. You must go to Penglai Pavilion before 9 o'clock, so there are fewer people. When I bought the ticket, it was said that it would cost 65 yuan/person. If there is one less martyr’s former residence, it would be 5 yuan/person cheaper. That former residence is not in Penglai Pavilion, so it doesn’t matter whether you go or not. The classic Penglai Pavilion tour is in the second half. The first half is just ancient buildings, which is not very interesting. There are so many tourists and they will drag you to see some mirage. Don’t go just to watch a movie. Generally, people in group tours don’t go in the second half of the tour. The Tianhengshan Cross-sea Cableway (20 yuan/person round trip) can broaden your horizons. We walked there, but we were very tired and there were no scenic spots. The scenery in the second half is good, and you can still see the dividing line between the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea at the highest point.
Xiao Ge prepared a rich lunch for us at noon. He also took us to buy some specialties, which were very cheap and delicious. I'm also going to ask him to check it in for me. In the afternoon, I left Penglai and went to Qingdao. The ticket to Qingdao is 62 yuan/person including insurance. Identity card is required to purchase. The latest is 16:30. The journey takes about 5 hours. I contacted the car at 0532-82882225 and sent it to Ms. Du’s family apartment at 1378060179?8 for 30 yuan (350 yuan per day for a sea view room), which is next to the No. 1 Bathing Beach and very close to Xiaoyu Mountain. Ms. Du is very nice and provides maps to help you plan your travel routes. Eating seafood on Beer Street in the evening felt very lively.
d6: Due to the heavy rain in Qingdao these days, the price of chartering a car to Laoshan has increased to 350 yuan, plus the entry fee, so the plan for Laoshan was cancelled. Sleep until you wake up naturally. Walk from the First Bathing Beach to Lu Xun Park to Little Qingdao (15 yuan, free if you enter before 7:30) to the trestle to the Catholic Church (under maintenance). Then take a taxi to Badaguan for 9 yuan (taxi in Qingdao adds 1 yuan to the original price, starting at 7 yuan). Badaguan is very suitable for couples to hang out and take wedding photos. If no one pointed it out, Princess Tower would not know which one it was. Huashilou (6.5 yuan/person) allows you to climb up and overlook the second bathing beach. Then we walked to May 4th Square and Music Square, and then to the Olympic sailing venue, which was not allowed in. Walking to Yunxiao Road Island Fishing Village, I recommend the Bayu Dumplings, which are delicious.
d7: Sleep until you wake up naturally. From the No. 1 Bathing Beach, take bus 304 to Shilaoren (2.5 yuan/person). I was very disappointed at Shilaoren Beach. The sea water is a mess and the construction is not good. How to play, take 304 back to Fushansuo (1.5 yuan/person) and go to Yunxiao Road to eat seafood. Along the way along 304, you can see Qingdao University, Ocean University, Beer City...it's a good sightseeing spot. The seafood at the fishing pier is better than the seafood in the island fishing village. I prefer the island fishing village. The fishing pier recommends abalone, which is delicious. Went to Zhongshan Park for a while. Finally, we went to the island fishing village to have our last seafood meal.
I called Ah Fei 1506682311?0 to charter a car to Qingdao Liuting Airport (80 yuan, he also provides a chartered car service to Laoshan, he is very interesting).
The flight delays for this tour are too severe. Weihai has the best sea water, and Chengshantou and Changdao are the most fun. The city of Yantai is under construction, so what’s the big deal? One day is enough if you don’t go to Laoshan in Qingdao. The sea water in Qingdao is not very good. If you want to go into the water, No. 1 Bathing Beach is better. People in Shandong are very polite, bring good chewing gum, garlic smells great. Finally, I would like to thank Xiaoge from Penglai, he helped me a lot. The travel friends plan to go to Penglai Changdao to find him, and they must be right. I wish all travel friends who are planning to go to Shandong coastal routes happy, my tips can help you.
