Shanxi tourist routes

It is no accident that Shanxi was once the "richest man on the sea". Emperor Kangxi began to practice Manchu-Mongolian friendship. After the border war stopped, Shanxi merchants reacted the fastest, immediately traded with Mongols, straightened out the transportation network of China's characteristic products, and became the "China Wall Street" at that time.

Shanxi is still the place with the largest number of preserved ancient buildings in China, and the only remaining Tang Dynasty buildings in China are in Shanxi. Some people say that "architecture is solidified music". This year marks the 90th anniversary of the founding of China Architectural Society. Do you want to follow in the footsteps of Liang Sicheng and Lin and listen to music that has passed through the Millennium?

In 1930s, Liang Sicheng and Lin visited Shaanxi four times, and the fourth time was in July 1937, which was stopped by the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War.

Liang Sicheng hated Japan's invasion of China, but at the end of the Anti-Japanese War, he advised the US military not to bomb the ancient cultural cities of Kyoto and Nara in Japan, so that these two cities could survive, which reflected Mr. Wang's great love for the world cultural heritage.
