2011 Lijiang Ancient Town Self-guided Tour

Self-guided tour of Lijiang Ancient Town. Buy a self-guided tour. I bought a copy of "Tibetan Antelope Self-guided Tour - Yunnan" and am currently reading it. In addition, in addition to the Internet, there are also travel friends over there. Although I don't know them, I can get some information through them.

2. Cash! The most important thing is that our travel plan is not to choose a luxury plan, but to have enough cash. Now many tickets have increased, some have doubled. (Currently in Lijiang, except for air tickets and accommodation fees, everything must be paid in cash, but cards cannot be swiped. However, I learned that there are banks everywhere in Lijiang. If you withdraw cash by card from other places, the handling fee does not exceed 1%.

Route time schedule:

D1-D3: Take a taxi to Jinhua West - then from Jinhua West (K79 20:35) to Kunming (arrive at 11:01). D3: Arrive in Kunming at 11:00. Kunming Passenger Terminal (20:00)/Take the night sleeper bus at around 8:00 p.m. The fare is 120 yuan/ticket. There are sleeper berths on the bus for night rest, but the sanitary conditions and safety are poor (since Kunming-Dali is already a highway). It only takes 3.5 hours to drive to Dali and 7 hours to Lijiang. There is no need to fly to Dali, and you can buy a lot of things with the money you save.) Or you can set up your own tent at Jiyuan Inn: Ancient City. No. 65, Jishan Lane, Xinyi Street, Tel: 0888-5112482, 13038612906)

It is recommended to find an inn directly in the ancient city. If you have solved the problem of accommodation, you can wander around the streets, shop or sit in bars and teahouses. Picture this: Lijiang Old Town is as bustling and crowded at night as Shanghai New World. There are many inns in the ancient city, with different grades. If it’s not May Day or National Day, you never have to worry about finding a suitable place to live. There are many high-end inns on East Street where luxury friends can stay. Personally, I feel that staying in an inn on higher ground is quieter and has a wider view. The scenery of Lijiang Old Town is also good. If I decide to stay, I decide to stay at Jishasha Inn No. 57, which is located at No. 57 Xingwen Lane, Qiyi Street, Lijiang Old Town. Conditions are okay. There is also Wenchang Pavilion and there is an inn in Wangu Tower. The higher the terrain, the better the panoramic view of the ancient city. D4

Itinerary: Lijiang - Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (the ticket price is not clear, Jade Dragon ticket is 120) - Maoniuping (or Yunbinping), and then return to Lijiang. Note: 80 for the small ropeway and 160 for the large ropeway.

Departure to Red Sun Plaza at 8:30 in the morning and take bus No. 7 to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Because I was delayed waiting for the bus to leave, I went to the Ganhaizi cable car ticket office around 10 o'clock. After I bought the ticket, I found that I had to wait in line for more than an hour to get the ropeway bus card, so we took a taxi to Yunshanping and spent 10 minutes watching the Baishui River on the way. Riding on Yunshanping to see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, you can see the peaks looming in the clouds. It took about two and a half hours to go up and down Yunshanping, then go back to Qianhaizi to change the ropeway bus card, have lunch, and wait for more than half an hour before taking the ropeway. It takes about ten minutes to drive from the ticket office to the cableway entrance, and there are still people queuing up at the cableway entrance. It was about 5 o'clock when I finished watching the glacier. Enjoy Naxi ancient music in the ancient city in the evening (Xuanke Naxi Ancient Orchestra is the most famous). Ticket price is 35 yuan, starting at 8:30 every night.

Cost: 8 yuan/person for bus No. 7, 120 yuan/person for hiking into the mountains to build an ancient city, 160 yuan/person for the cable car, and 70 yuan/person for Yunshanping riding. Just imagine: Many people online suggested that we only go to Meili Snow Mountain and not Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. After practice, I feel the same way. Meili Snow Mountain is much better than Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in terms of ticket price, crowding level, and spectacular glaciers. However, if you don’t have time to go to Meili, go to Yulong to see the glaciers. It’s a lot of fun. It should be noted that the conductor on the No. 7 bus will strongly encourage you to ride up the mountain, saying that you can also get a free ticket. I don’t know if it’s true, I didn’t try it because I was afraid of being cheated, but one thing is for sure, you can’t see the glacier while riding a horse. You can only see the glacier by taking the ropeway. During the peak season, I think it is better to go horse riding in Yunshanping. You have to queue up for the ropeway, and there is still a little distance from the ropeway to the scenic spot. The road is not easy to walk on and is full of horse dung. Maybe you'll have to ride a horse in the end. If you go to Baishui River, you don’t have to go to Blackwater River. Niu Ping didn't have time to go. I think it should be similar to Yunshanping. That's all. Let's not go. The cableway can reach a height of 4500m, and altitude sickness may occur. I saw a lot of people crowded in emergency rooms or holding oxygen bottles. Personally, I don’t think it’s necessary to charter a car to go to the snowy mountains. It’s quite expensive, but bus No. 7 does not stop at Yufeng Temple and Baisha Mural. If you want to go to those two places, you must charter a car.

D5-Lugu Lake (self-guided tour with a group, each person only needs to pay 120 yuan for hotel food), plus Lugu Lake tickets. After arriving on the same day, go for a lake tour. (By the way, ask the store to help you order a roasted whole lamb.) Attend a bonfire party in the evening and enjoy roasted whole lamb after the event. Then you can also take a dip.

D6 Get up early in the morning and watch the sunrise over Lugu Lake. Then, go to Lige Peninsula for a home visit. At 11 o'clock, go back to the hotel to pack your luggage. Take the self-guided tour bus and prepare to return to Lijiang. After arriving in Lijiang, stay at the booked inn first! In the evening, go out to Lijiang Old Town to enjoy the night (please go by yourself for details). Rent a Santana that night and go out to enjoy the snow scenery and Tibetan customs of Shangri-La the next day.

D7: Lijiang-Shangri-La

Rent a car in good condition to go to Shangri-La. The round trip price is about 450 yuan.

While playing and driving along the way, you can visit the first bay of the Yangtze River (no tickets required). The 30 yuan ticket for Tiger Leaping Gorge is divided into Upper Tiger Leaping, Lower Tiger Leaping and Middle Tiger Leaping. Tourists can only go to Shanghutiao and Zhonghutiao, of which Shanghutiao is the steepest. In the middle of the year, Pana Seagrass Garden (horse riding), Songzanlin Temple. Return to Lijiang Old Town in the evening. Then start another night tour of the ancient city, walking from your residence to Yuquan Park (also known as Black Dragon Pool).

Note, remember to bring your student ID card before traveling. Special note: The best travel seasons are April and October each year. In spring and summer, mountain flowers are in full bloom and colorful. In autumn and winter, the silver world is spectacular. According to the regulations of the local tourism bureau, tourists to Lijiang must pay an ancient city maintenance fee of 20 yuan. If you have access to the Internet, it is usually free at the inn, but if you want to go to Xincheng, the price at the Internet cafe is 2-3 yuan per hour. There are many Internet cafes in the ancient city, and the Internet cafes in first-class hotels are more expensive. The best option is to go to Dongba Home, where the equipment is very good. Compared with other cities, the Internet fee in Lijiang is quite high, generally 1,618 yuan/hour. There are also cheaper home Internet cafes, such as No. 54, upper Gongshan, Xinhua Street, Dayan Ancient City (direction to Wangu Road, Sifang Street), 10 yuan for Internet access, 20 yuan/3 hours. Tickets for Black Dragon Pool are now 60. According to the regulations of the local tourism bureau, tourists visiting Lijiang must pay an ancient city fee of 40 yuan. Just go to Yulong, pay 40 plus 80, and the ticket is 120.

The second route, I hope you can give me some opinions! D1: Wenzhou first goes to Hangzhou, then Hangzhou-Kunming-Zhongdian (late bus); (After flying from Hangzhou to Kunming on the first day, I plan to buy a ticket from Kunming to go directly to Zhongdian. The journey takes about 13 hours, and the sleeper ticket is 160 yuan The latest bus is at 9:30pm, so you can buy one at 6pm or 7pm, which is exactly around 8am in Zhongdian. This saves time and one night's accommodation fee. D2: Arrive in Zhongdian in the morning. Dian: Bita Sea-Shudu Lake-Yila Grassland-Napa Sea-Songzanlin Temple lives in Zhongdian; D3: Zhongdian-Zhonghutiao (2 hours' drive)-Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (1 hour's drive)-Lijiang, life In Lijiang; D4: Lijiang River-Lugu Lake, live in Lige Village; D5: Lugu Lake-Lijiang, live in Lijiang; D6: Visit Lijiang Old Town, stop in Dali, and go to Dali in the afternoon; D7: Dali-Kunming-Hangzhou self-guided tour. Knowledge point: Lijiang is the heart of the ancient Naxi Kingdom. Dongba culture refers to the ancient Naxi culture, which is named after it is preserved in Dongba religion. It has a history of nearly a thousand years. Naxi ancient music is a world art. A wonderful thing in history, the Naxi people not only cherish Baisha Xiyue and Naxi ancient music, but also retain the ukulele Sugudu from Persia and the Naxi Dongbawen ancient music, which is known as the remnant of Yuan music. The only complete hieroglyphics in the world. The Ming Dynasty murals are still preserved in Baisha, as well as the folklore of the Thirteen Jade Dragon Peaks.

Domestic Transportation

Taxi: Tourists can walk around. Of course, you can also take a taxi when visiting Lijiang Old Town. There are about 1,000 taxis in Lijiang. The starting price of ordinary taxis is 6 yuan, and the fare for Santana is 7 yuan, and the fare for each kilometer is 1.8 yuan, which is generally only 6 yuan in the county. / trip, the driver is generally acceptable. Bicycles: Lijiang has car rental services, but only bicycles (all are mountain bikes), and the rental fee is 15 yuan/day.

Food and drinks are required.

Lijiang Bazan is a local staple food. It is as thin as paper and has many layers, so it is also called Thousand Layer Cake and will not deteriorate after two or three months. Chopped green onion, lard, etc. It has two flavors, salty and sweet. I believe you will not miss this good opportunity to feast your eyes on it. If you are a tourist in the mountains and happen to meet the local Yi people selling chicken fir, I recommend you. Buy them all. The price is very cheap, about 15 yuan/pack. You can ask the boss to fry a plate of chicken wolfberry slices for you at a nearby restaurant. This kind of chicken wolfberry is a treasure among fungi. You can buy it in Kunming. It costs a few hundred yuan.

Stay

Lijiang Old Town is one of the places where you can stay for half a month. Most tourists choose to stay in inns when they go to Lijiang. , Bai traditional inns, the average bed price is 2,040 yuan per person, and the number will increase during peak seasons.

Things to note

1. In Lijiang Old Town, the mobile phone signal is better outside the city. In the mountainous area, mobile phones are generally not available. 2. There are many Internet cafes in the ancient city, and the Internet cafes in first-class hotels are more expensive. The best choice is Dongba Tower, where the equipment is very good. Compared with other cities, the Internet fee in Lijiang is quite high. Generally 1618 yuan/hour. There are also cheaper home Internet cafes, such as No. 54, upper Gongshan, Xinhua Street, Dayan Ancient Town (direction to Wangu Road, Sifang Street), 10 yuan for Internet access, 20 yuan/3 hours. 3. The best printing shops are concentrated in Lijiang Old Town. For example, there are very good printing shops at the entrance of the ancient city on East Street and Xinyi Street in the ancient city.

Food comes first, and so does Lijiang. Based on chefs recommended by Lijiang Soft Time, the restaurant provides tourists with Lijiang's specialties. All benefits are based on a full stomach. The so-called food and sex, the judgment is reasonable. Live in Oak Park, live outside the world, escape the hustle and bustle, and come to Lijiang to enjoy a leisurely life. Will your taste and success improve further? The winner will not be alone. In Oak Park, you'll find company.

First of all, eat

To be honest, there are very few delicious Lijiang snacks recorded in major travel books. Lijiang Baba is a sesame seed cake without any ingredients, and Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles is a bowl of chicken soup, not to mention the others.

Even most of the Naxi locals are accustomed to modified Naxi cuisine that is close to Sichuan cuisine. Personally, I think the restaurants in Lijiang are delicious, including the pork ribs and potato chicken at Xincheng Xiangshan Market. The technical level of Shipotian Jianghu Restaurant on Wuyi Street in the ancient city is relatively stable, especially its spiced chicken wings, fish-flavored eggplant, sizzling tofu, and sizzling tofu. There are also cured meat shops and pickle shops. You can also try fried potatoes and boiled mushrooms from roadside stalls. As for the yak jerky sold everywhere in Mangu City, you can buy it at the price of ordinary beef jerky, which usually costs more than ten or twenty yuan per pound.

Second, purchase

As the most famous scenic spot in Yunnan, Lijiang has become a distribution center for Yunnan specialties in a sense. The main specialties include Pu'er tea, silver and jade wares, wood carvings, fur bags, shawls and scarves and other handmade products. The effect of Pu'er tea is that Pu'er tea is milder than other teas, warms the stomach without hurting the stomach, and can also lower blood lipids. It is more suitable for the elderly to drink Pu'er tea because Pu'er tea can promote gastrointestinal motility and digestion. Lijiang is an important trading place in Yunnan. Pu'er tea bought by knowledgeable people in other cities is worth thousands of yuan.

The Dongba cigarettes sold everywhere in Lijiang Old Town are all fake. The local tradition of the Naxi people is to use bamboo hookahs to smoke dry tobacco. The furs sold everywhere in Lijiang Old Town are basically bobcat and big dog skins. There will be no so-called grass wolves and grass leopards, but it is still good as an embellishment. Depending on the color of the fur, the price can be bargained to 100 yuan to 300 yuan.

The ancient city of Lijiang has been a distribution center for silver and jade articles since ancient times. Jewelry is not only fashionable but also affordable. You can usually buy them for more than ten or twenty yuan, and the more expensive ones are several hundred dollars. Generally, even in Lijiang, there is no pure silver with a content of 99.9, the highest is 92.5. Don't believe in the so-called fake one and get ten for it. You can only buy dozens of silverware styles that most stores sell. Although the prices of these special styles are relatively cheap in Lijiang, they are not bad.

Most carpenters in Lijiang use rhododendron wood for carving. Line engraving generally costs 50 to 80 yuan, while relief is priced according to specific craftsmanship and size. Generally, it is around 300 to 400 yuan, and stores usually quote around 800 to 1,000 yuan. The more distinctive ones include the pictures of returning from hunting, Mayu the God of War, Qudo the roc, Bug the frog, etc.

Tip: Almost all the baby fairies in Naxi Jingdi have found shopping wholesale stores or cheap stores, but we still hope that customers can go to the ancient city to shop and bargain, fully understand the market conditions, and then let the baby fairies Take them shopping. Only in this way can they experience the joy of shopping when buying valuable items such as sterling silver jewelry, jade, crystal gems, and plateau medicinal materials. No matter how big or trusted the store is, it is recommended that you go to the Quality Supervision Bureau for testing. Even if the baby buys these by himself or takes customers to a familiar store, Naxi Dujing also recommends going to the Supervision Bureau for testing, because buying with confidence can make his journey happy. Three: Play

The main attractions around Lijiang include the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain known as Glacier Park, the unrestrained and beautiful Lugu Lake, Lashihai, a wetland where migratory birds gather, the Ancient Tea Horse Road passing through virgin forests, and open grasslands Shangri-La, the unconquered Meili Snow Mountain and the hiking mecca of Tiger Leaping Gorge.

It is recommended that you do not participate in any Lijiang X-day tour. It will be like chasing ducks, no fun at all. Even if it’s your first time in Lijiang, it’s enough to find a trustworthy innkeeper to provide advice, which saves money and is fun. Babies can organize a group quota around the four-day route. In addition, it is recommended not to come to Lijiang with a group of people. Better to separate. Lijiang is another place. Naturally, the more acquaintances come to play together, the less likely they are to taste the flavor of Lijiang. It is recommended that you do not go to the snow-capped mountains on horseback. Even if you want to go to a high-altitude scenic spot above 3,000 meters, you must stay in Lijiang for a few days to adapt to the transition period of altitude sickness. Different seasons are suitable for visiting different attractions. Naxi Jingdi gives you some suggestions for visiting. Lijiang has a lot of natural scenery and is suitable for multiple visits. It is recommended that you don’t visit all the famous attractions at once. On the one hand, time and energy are limited; on the other hand, if you visit an attraction in the wrong season, you will lose the fun of truly experiencing the classics. For example, the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in October is often blocked by fog, so it’s still boring to go there once. That season calls for sun-drenched snowy mountains. It is better to visit attractions that are suitable for the season first, and then go to attractions that are not suitable next time.

One thing that needs to be reminded is that please understand the relatively simple local living facilities with a tolerant attitude and respect the folk customs of ethnic minorities. Although the natural scenery around Lijiang is charming, travel and entertainment will still be affected by weather changes and personal preferences. Please make some mental preparations.

Fourth, survive

I have two suggestions for coming to Lijiang Ancient Town. One is not to join a tour group, and the other is not to stay in a hotel or hotel-style inn, because you are here for tourism. , you are not here to recuperate, you are here to experience Naxi characteristics, not a high-end hotel in Shanghai. When coming to Lijiang, it is recommended to stay in an inn in the ancient city. The price is relatively low, but the folk customs you enjoy are definitely worth it. It is really a waste to come to Lijiang Old Town and stay in a hotel outside the ancient city. When choosing an inn, choose a place where eating, shopping, and shopping are cheap and fun, not near Sifang Street Bar Street, because accommodation requires a quiet place in a noisy place. I think the inn itself is one of the most important attractions in Lijiang Old Town. If you book a hotel or hotel-style inn, it will be very bland and boring, and you will lose a lot of wonderful experiences and memories during your trip to Lijiang.

In Gucheng Inn, general rooms cost 20-40 in the off-season, and standard rooms cost 50-300. They are slightly more expensive in the peak season.

The price of Lijiang Jingdi Inn is generally 60-300 yuan depending on the room type. You can’t just look at whether the price is the cheapest or the most expensive, but also look at whether the yard is comfortable, the specific cost-effectiveness, and the popularity and interactivity of the inn. Is the innkeeper kind and enthusiastic and will not kill guests? Is the repeat guest more popular? Is the interaction good? This kind of interaction will make you make many friends and bring you unexpected gains. These are all additional things, intangible and precious things.

In fact, in the sunny Old Town of Lijiang, lying in the sun most of the time is a particularly comfortable enjoyment. If you bask in a square Naxi courtyard with delightful flowers, you might find your own meter of sunshine. I think the pure land of the Naxi people in the ancient city is very good, and the courtyard is very Naxi indigenous style. Personally, I think that in Lijiang, the noise of bars is not as attractive as the sunshine in the courtyard. Being in a daze and being comfortable are actually the cheapest and most expensive things in the world.

Many guests who take a taxi from the bus terminal to Lijiang Old Town will encounter a taxi driver who says that a certain inn is their home and it is very cheap. However, some people believe it. I am really speechless for this childish lie. What a coincidence! Most bus station drivers have their own inns, haha. Guests who have been deceived by such lies will 100% regret it after seeing Naxi Pure Land Inn. For more Lijiang travel tips and anti-fraud tips, please visit Lijiang Travel Questions and Answers.

Intransitive verbs other people

When visiting scenic spots, it is best to find a trustworthy innkeeper to contact him about chartering a car and other matters. Because the inn relies on repeat customers and word of mouth to continue operating, it will be responsible to the guests to the end. Naxi Pure Land Inn strongly does not recommend going out to play during the rainy season, nor does it recommend spending too much time playing like chasing ducks. For example, during this period, the snow-capped mountains are often obscured by fog, but they are suitable for horseback riding. Then go to Lashihai or Shangri-La first. Next time, go see the snow-capped mountains and spend four to five hundred yuan to see them. In fact, Lijiang has a lot of natural scenery, and you will be happy if you choose scenic spots that suit the season. There is no need to be too demanding.

Tips: Except for July and August when the rainy season in Lijiang is very cold, the other times are similar. It gets cold in the morning and evening, so you need an extra coat. Wearing a T-shirt to bask in the sun during the day is very comfortable. But Lijiang often rains for a few minutes from time to time during the day. Lijiang has a dry climate. In fact, a little rain can moisturize the air, but if it rains in Lijiang, you need to wear an extra coat.

When I first arrived in Lijiang, I heard about Oak Park from a lovely couple in Shanghai. The teacher who picked us up at that time also recommended it, but we both had a small plan in mind. Isn’t it said online that there are many inns that cost tens of yuan per room? Usually just come out. It was getting dark at that time, and under Aladdin's arrangement, we stayed in Oak Park at an acceptable price. As soon as we entered the gate, saw the elegant courtyard, and the star-rated rooms, we cried. The commendable thing is that Oak Park also offers free delivery, which saves us the trouble of carrying large and small bags. Thank you Oak Park for giving us a good dream on our first night in Lijiang.

In Oak Park, in addition to enjoying the rare tranquility of the city, we also discovered a lot. Start with the alleys in Oak Park, and with a map, you can find many alleys. It is very pleasant to take a leisurely stroll with a small bag, away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. Because it is not on the main street, many of the products you like can be purchased at the ideal price, and we also found many products! Oak Park is also very close to the food market. do not laugh. To understand the local customs and customs, you really have to go to the wet market. Moreover, the shops along the way serve local residents, so you won’t ask for random prices, saving you the pain of haggling.

At Oak Park, it’s worth mentioning that its lunch and dinner are delicious, generous portions, and reasonably priced. In addition, you can also arrange delivery to the airport for 50 yuan, which is not bad!

I also have two suggestions for coming to Lijiang Ancient Town. One is not to bring the elderly, and the other is not to bring your lover, because you are here to travel, not to recuperate, and the second is to experience the romantic city, not Came for honeymoon. Of course, you can choose any one.

When staying in Lijiang, I recommend Dugulou Inn. This is the inn I saw on the way from Wenchang Palace to Wangulou. The sign as one of the One Meter Sunshine Photography Spots and the sign offering free photography grabbed my attention. There are many shops in the ancient city that do not write photos. I think these shop owners are too narrow-minded and don't even have the so-called rights protection.

If you want to eat, I recommend Qiuyuege Restaurant, especially its fresh salmon, Lijiang specialty snacks, spicy pork ribs, hot pot and chicken hot pot, and two pieces of chicken jelly. It has almost become a must-eat dish for me every day. .

Recommend the Horizon Bar for entertainment in the evening. I think it's pretty good too, having listened to many modern and upbeat versions of classic old songs. I don’t want to say more, just make your own choice. Lijiang Sunflower Collection, Lijiang self-guided tour guide can search for Lijiang travel knowledge questions and answers.

If you can eat, drink and have fun in Lijiang, I recommend Naxi Pure Land Inn, an inn I occasionally encounter. It is very emotional, and its name is taken from a popular Naxi song in the ancient city - Naxi Jingdi.

If you want to eat, you can recommend Shipotian Jianghu Restaurant on Wuyi Street, especially its five-spice chicken wings, fish-flavored eggplant, sizzling tofu, spicy chicken, and braised pig's trotters. Next to Shi Potian, there is a jewelry store called No. 8, which is much cheaper and more affordable than those sold outside.

Lijiang Ancient Town, with a history of more than 800 years, is located in the middle of Bazi, Lijiang, covering an area of ??about 3.8 square kilometers. It was founded in the late Southern Song Dynasty.

It was the Fu Xuan branch of Lijiang Road in the Yuan Dynasty, the residence of the Lijiang military and civilian government in the Ming Dynasty and the Lijiang government in the Qing Dynasty. The streets in Lijiang are not neat, but they are distributed freely. The main street faces the water and the alleys border the canal. More than 300 ancient stone bridges complement rivers, green trees, ancient lanes and ancient houses. They have the aesthetic charm of ancient trees, small bridges, flowing water and people in the plateau water towns, and are known as the owners of the plateau, Venice and Suzhou. Making full use of the three-eye wells built by the springs in the city, drinking water in the upper pool, washing vegetables in the middle pool, and rinsing clothes in the lower stream is a symbol of the wisdom of the Naxi ancestors and a model masterpiece for local people to utilize water resources. It fully reflects the team's and The harmony and unity of nature. The Mu family chieftain's mansion in the city presents the beauty of a palace, which means the extraordinary scene of a king. Sifang Street in Xingu City was the commercial hub of northwest Yunnan during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the distribution center on the Ancient Tea Horse Road.

When traveling to Lijiang, the recommended Lijiang tourist attractions are:

Naxi Dongba Culture

It was formed in the Tang and Song Dynasties and has a history of nearly a thousand years. . Dongba religion is the original religion of the Naxi people and is an eclectic religion. It is a polytheistic religion that believes in animism. Dongba language is a hieroglyphic script with both ideographic and phonological components. There are only more than 1,400 characters in Naxi hieroglyphics, but the text is extremely rich. They can fully express delicate emotions, describe and explain complex things, and write poems and articles. They are currently the only living hieroglyphs in the world. There are more than 20,000 scriptures written and preserved in hieroglyphs. The voluminous scriptures are rich in content. Covering philosophy, history, astronomy, religion, witch doctors, folklore, literature, art and other aspects, it can be called a complete collection of hundreds of swordsmen in ancient Naxi society.

Lijiang Naxi Ancient Music

Naxi Ancient Music is some Cipai and Qupai music since the Tang and Song Dynasties. After the Hongwu Year (1368 AD), this kind of music gradually spread to Lijiang. There are still 22 pieces of Naxi ancient music, some of which incorporate the Naxi people's own thoughts, feelings and playing styles. Naxi ancient music is called the living fossil of music, the sound of peace, and the sound of fairy music by Chinese and foreign scholars and music lovers. Listening to Naxi ancient music, people really feel that this kind of music should only exist in heaven and can be heard several times in the world.

Baisha is the earliest settlement of the Naxi people in Bazi, Lijiang. It is also the birthplace of Lijiang Mu’s toast.

In the early Ming Dynasty, Mu moved to Dayan Town. In Naxi language, it was called Baishayan Kendang (Upper Courtyard), and in Dayan Town it was called Mujiayuan (Lower Courtyard). In the Ming Dynasty, Tusi Mu built the local government office in Dayan Town, and also built many buildings such as Xuesong Temple, Dading Pavilion, Jingang Hall, Hall, Dabaoji Palace, Jiefang Forest, etc. in Baisha, and painted many murals. Very high artistic value.

OK: Go to Jinjia Market (you can take bus No. 8 from Baixin Shopping Mall), (2 yuan/person), and get on the bus at the Baisha Street parking lot when you come back.

Shigu: 53 kilometers away from Lijiang Old Town.

Lijiang Shigu Town is located in the corner of Jiangwan. It is named after the drum-shaped white marble stele carved by the local magistrate of Lijiang in the 27th year of Jiajing reign in the Ming Dynasty (1548). The Yangtze River made a big bend from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to Lijiang Shigu, and then drifted eastward, thus creating civilization in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.

Beside the stone drum in the rushing river, two heirloom treasures are secretly hidden. The two handed down treasures mentioned in the "Pisa Canto" by the American poet Ezra Pound are from a folk stone man to a stone drum. The stone drum is full of straw objects, such as straw mats, straw cages, and straw sandals. There is a rope bridge called Tiehong Bridge because it looks like a rainbow. The bridge is 10 feet wide and 50 feet long. There are gate towers on both sides of the bridge and two plaques, the upper and lower gates of heaven and the far and near gates of happiness. This bridge was originally built by Zhou Lanping, a Shiguju man from the Qing Dynasty.

Shuhe Ancient Town, located four kilometers northwest of the ancient city of Lijiang, is one of the earliest settlements of the Naxi ancestors in Bazi, Lijiang. The eight scenic spots along the river are famous far and wide. They are "Liuyan Pingqiao", "Fireflies in the Night Market", "Knocking on the Broken Monument", "Red Leaves on the Western Mountain", "Love between Fish and Water", "Moon Viewing at Longmen", "Reflection of Snow Mountain", and "Night Reading of Stone Lotus". Next to the Jiuding Longtan, there is a pavilion built in the Qing Dynasty called Sansheng Palace, also known as Longquan Temple. The temple was originally dedicated to Guanyin, Manjusri and Samantabhadra, and later to Emperor Xuanyuan, Sun Mo and the monk Zimei. The plaque in front of the building means half a day of leisure. If you take it off, it means half a day of leisure. Near the ancient street of Shuhe Village, in today's Shuhe Primary School, there is Dajue Palace, a courtyard built in the late Ming Dynasty. Although the main hall is not high, the building structure is symmetrical and harmonious, with high eaves at the four corners, and square beams and columns decorated with reliefs of various birds and animals, which are lifelike. There are 9 murals in the palace, 6 of which are extant, with a total area of ??26 square meters. Different from the Baisha murals, it is purely based on Chinese Buddhism and Taoism. It mainly depicts scenes of Buddha, Arhats, gods, kings, maidens and other saints worshiping Buddha. It also incorporates the three-faced and eight-armed Guanyin of Esoteric Buddhism and Taoist immortal principles.
