The best time to travel is of course midsummer, but going to Qingdao at the end of the year will give you a different flavor.

Day 1: The coastal pedestrian path connects Zhanqiao Park, Lu Xun Park, No. 1 Bathing Beach, Badaguan Scenic Area, May Fourth Square, Shilaoren Beach and other major tourist attractions together, forming a unique Unique seaside scenery gallery. The next day: Go straight to Laoshan. There are currently four tour routes in Laoshan, including three land routes (south route, east route, middle route) and one water route.

Southern route: Go east from Hong Kong East Road or Donghai East Road, pass through Shashakou, climb to Yingying, and flow down the Qinghe River to Taiqing Palace, mainly visiting Taiqing scenic spots. If time permits, you can go to Shangqing Scenic Area or Jufeng Scenic Area; you can also go to Qipanshi Scenic Area. This tour route is short, you can see several famous attractions, and you can easily go back and forth on the same day.

It is very convenient to take the tourist bus or bus No. 104, No. 113, and No. 304 to visit this line, which can reduce the fatigue of mountain climbing.

Eastern route: Starting from Licun, Licang District, first turn north and turn east, passing through Xifu, Wanggezhuang and Yangkou, mainly visiting the Yangkou Scenic Area. If you start early in the morning and the tour itinerary is compact, If you have more time left, you can go south to visit Qipanshi Scenic Area or go straight to Taiqing Scenic Area and return from the southern route.

Depending on the number of people traveling with you, you can take a minibus or a rental car, and you can visit the main attractions on the east and south lines in one day. If you take bus No. 123, No. 312, or No. 106, you can generally only visit the eastern route.

Middle line: also starts from Licun, Licang District, goes east via Beilongkou, turns north, passes through Beizhai, Wuyi Lane and goes to Beijiushui Scenic Area. If time permits, you can visit the Hualou Scenic Area on this route; you can also drive to Jufeng via Liushu Terrace, or walk past Chaoyin Waterfall to reach Jufeng. From Dalao Temple, you can transfer to Yangkou Scenic Area. You can take a taxi or take bus No. 107, No. 110, No. 311, No. 365 to get there.

Eat: Don’t crowd into the food stalls on the beach

Eating out is the most important thing. With the arrival of the peak tourist season in Qingdao, Qianhai’s first-line restaurants have also ushered in their golden period. It is recommended that you don’t crowd at the beach food stalls, it is best to choose some local fishermen’s restaurants. Because it is opened by a local, the taste must be relatively authentic. Secondly, the price must be very reasonable. I often go to the Chocolate Fisherman's House, and the cooking taste is no worse than the well-known seafood hotels in the city, or even better; and then there are Qianwangyuan Fishing Village, this restaurant also serves seafood and is very unique.

Tips: It’s best to stagger meals slightly. There are many tourists during the peak tourist season. If everyone rushes to eat at noon, the restaurant will be overcrowded. If you stagger your meals appropriately, you won’t have to spend too much time waiting. The opening hours of first-line restaurants along the coast are longer, so tourists don’t have to worry about not having something to eat.

Accommodation: With the arrival of the tourist season, the business of hotels in the island city is becoming more and more prosperous. Small hotels are relatively cheap, and business hotels are more cost-effective, but it is difficult to book a room in advance during the Oktoberfest.

During Oktoberfest, most rooms in family hotels cannot be reserved. Business hotels and star hotels also have different prices during the tourist season. Among five-star hotels, the current price of Shangri-La is 2,450 yuan plus 15% service charge. Reservations are accepted during the Oktoberfest, but the price has not yet been determined; the price of star hotels such as Eagle Valley Courtyard, Litian, Oriental and others is around 600 to 700 yuan; Prices at hotel chains such as Home Inn and Hanting Hotel are around 300 to 400 yuan.
