Where is Peleliu Island?

Peleliu Island is located at the southernmost tip of the Palau Reef. It is the place where Palau first prospered. During the Second World War, the most fierce and bloody battles in the Pacific were fought on this island. The Japanese and Japanese armies almost razed Peleliu to the ground, so an airport runway was opened in the reefs of Peleliu before the war; there are still American and Japanese monuments, war relics and artillery shells on the island. Bloody Nose Ridge is the highest point of Peleliu. It was also the place where the two armies were most eager to attack during the war. Climb up about 150 steps. There is a platform at the highest point with a view in all directions. No wonder it became Peleliu. Liliu's most important military location. In addition to growing cannabis, other food and supplies rely on Kolo for supply. Boats travel between Kolo and Peleliu almost every day, and because there are no restaurants or hotels, tourists must arrange transportation, food and accommodation at the Kolo Tourism Center. There are many cars in Peleliu, but mopeds are the main means of transportation; there is no wireless communication with Colo, and the main source of water comes from rainwater. There are no modern facilities such as telephones and televisions on the island, so there are usually some "minibus drivers" waiting for guests at the pier in Peleliu. The price is usually negotiated on a per-person basis, around 10 US dollars per person. There are currently no more than 500 residents on the island. There are simple restaurants and B&Bs on the island. Occasionally, fishing guests choose to stay overnight in Peleliu.
