Fossil group is the central park and an important part of Yanqing Silicified Wood National Geopark, covering an area of 20.5 square kilometers. It is divided into three parts: core area, experimental area and buffer area. At present, it is the largest geological relic of silicified wood buried, produced and displayed in the north of China, which has high scientific research and ornamental value. Silicified wood is mainly distributed on the banks of Baihe River near Xiadelongwan Village in Qianjiadian Town, and it was produced in Jurassic volcanic basin about 65.438+0.4 billion years ago. At present, 57 bare trees have been found in the experimental area, with the largest diameter of 2.5 meters and the longest length of 15 meters. Most of them are yellowish brown and grayish white, mainly conifers, which are well preserved and have clear rings.

3. Dishui Lake

Dishui Lake Scenic Area is located in the west of Sitangou, Shaliangzi Village, Qianjiadian Town, Yanqing County, Beijing, which is 150 km away from Beijing downtown and 70 km away from Yanqing County. Dishui Lake is a small waterfall with unique shape. Because of the drop of more than 20 meters, it was hoarse, and the upper part of the waterfall was small, just like the water poured out of a kettle, so it was named "Dishui Lake". The winter scenery of Dishui Lake is very unique. The cliffs on both sides of the waterfall are covered with ice, and the bushes are scattered with ice flowers.
