What are the requirements for a free travel visa in Germany?

1. China citizens need to apply for a visa in advance to go to Germany.

2. Germany is a Schengen agreement country and will apply for a Schengen visa for a short stay (within 90 days). More than 90 days is a long-term visa and a country visa.

3. Those who go to a third country via Germany need to apply for a transit visa whether they leave the airport or not.

4. The Schengen visa is valid for up to half a year and stays for 90 days, and can be issued by all Schengen countries.

Germany has five consulates, namely, the Chinese Embassy, the Consulate General in Shanghai, the Consulate General in Guangzhou, the Consulate General in Chengdu and the Consulate General in Hong Kong, and has opened a visa agency center in Beijing, and will soon open visa agency centers in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu.
