Where is the Xinmidi Palace?
A folk song sings: "Nanjing to Beijing is not as good as Yunyan Palace." Yunyan Palace is located in the southwest of Liuzhai Village, xinmi city. Because of its soft stone, Yunyan Palace not only absorbs a lot of water, but also emits white mist-like water vapor. Steam rises slowly around the rock, just like a cloud. People call the rocks here water stones, also called marble. Under a huge rock, a hole named Yunyang Cave was artificially dug. According to legend, Emperor Xuanyuan once trained and gave lectures here, and buried military symbols. Later generations erected statues of Emperor Xuanyuan and his ministers in the cave and offered sacrifices all the year round.
In the second year of Song Kaibao (969), a Yunyan Palace was built above Yunyan Cave. From low to high, there are three floors and three courtyards, including Xuanyuan Gate, Wujiang Gate, Shi Si Hall, Sutra Pavilion and Huangyu Pavilion, so it is also called Xuanyuan Huangdi Palace. Due to the war and man-made destruction, after the founding of New China, there was only a miserable scene dubbed as "a temple with 300 cypresses and 20 stones". However, there are still many stone monuments, including the Eight Arrays Monument after the Wind in Tang Dynasty, the Yunyan Palace Monument rebuilt from Yuan Dynasty to the first year, and the Yunyan Palace Monument in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. In the east of Yunyan Palace, there is a village called Yangmazhuang, which is said to be the place where the Yellow Emperor raised horses. There is a Cangwangzhuang in the north, which is said to be the place where the Yellow Emperor stored food and grass when he was training here. There are many legends and stories that prove that this was once the place where the Yellow Emperor lived and lived.
In recent years, through the development and publicity of xinmi city, a new tourist attraction in The Yellow Emperor's Palace has been presented to the world. Especially in a place called Huanglupozhai opposite Yunyan Palace, a set of eight stone carving soldiers and figures were restored (pictured). On the ground as big as a football field, there is a 3-meter-high earthen platform in the center, on which stands a statue of the Yellow Emperor. Around the terrace, there are 256 life-size stone statues, arranged in eight formations, surrounded by groups, dense, like magic soldiers falling from the sky! Stone soldiers and figures are brave, and their faces are full of strength. Dressed in eight kinds of costumes and armed with eight kinds of weapons, they look at this vivid eight-array map and this vast military field, which makes people excited and memorable!
