Datong Gate in Xichang 1

Datong Gate, located at the south gate of the old city of Xichang, is one of the four gates of Jianchangwei ancient city in Ming Dynasty, and it is an important landmark building leading to the ancient tea-horse road and the southern Silk Road in Xichang. It was built in the 20th year of Hongwu (1387), more than 600 years ago, and it is a cultural relic protection unit in Sichuan Province.

2. Qionghai

Xichang is also a city of the moon, and Qionghai is the second largest freshwater lake in Sichuan Province. The lake is clear, level as a mirror and beautiful, which complements the bright moon in the sky.
