Introduction to the physical examination process of visiting relatives in Australia

Introduction to the physical examination process of visiting relatives in Australia. Before traveling to Australia or visiting relatives, you should have a corresponding physical examination. What is the content and process of physical examination? Let's have a look. For applications for visiting relatives and temporary residence visas, if the applicant needs to have a general physical examination and/or chest X-ray examination, then the applicant can choose to go to the designated hospital for a physical examination before submitting the application.

For partner immigration application and children immigration, the applicant should go to the designated hospital for general examination and X-ray chest X-ray before submitting the application. Applicants of other types of family immigrants need to wait for the notice from the Shanghai visa office before they can have a full-body examination and X-ray chest X-ray.

Applicants must have a physical examination in a designated hospital. Applicants can make an appointment at the designated hospital of their choice-and make sure to bring the following materials with them during the physical examination:

-Form 26 and/or Form160;

-Each form requires a passport-sized photo;

-Passport (if applicable) or ID card

Applicants should also know the type of visa they apply for, because the designated doctor needs this information to fill out the medical examination form. The applicant should arrange the whole body examination and/or chest X-ray examination by himself.

What will happen after the health check?

The doctor will send the physical examination results directly to the physical examination and evaluation office of the Beijing Embassy. If any health risks are found during the inspection, the Physical Examination and Evaluation Office of the Beijing Embassy must send the results to the Australian Health Assessment Service Center (HOC) for further advice. According to the legal requirements, the physical examination and evaluation office of the Beijing Embassy must accept the opinions of the Australian Health Evaluation Service Center on whether the applicant meets the health requirements. Before issuing a visa, HOC may ask the applicant for further physical examination.

If the physical examination evaluation office of Beijing Embassy needs to send the physical examination results to HOC, it may take up to 4 weeks to receive the opinions of HOC. The Ad Hoc Committee may require the applicant to undergo further medical examination. Therefore, the hearing time of the application will be further extended. The applicant has 49 days from the date of issuance of the medical examination letter, and the hospital will send the complete medical examination form to our office (the date of medical examination for student visa applicants is indicated in the PVA letter).

If re-examination is required, the applicant must re-examine it within 49 days from the date of issuance of the medical examination letter.
