According to the Yecheng ruins protection plan, the county selected the museum site outside the protection scope of the Yecheng ruins, on the northern extension of the central axis of Yebei City, about 300 meters south from the Yecheng North City Wall ruins. The museum has a total budget of 21 million yuan, covering an area of ??65 acres, with a main building area of ??5,228 square meters, a main body height of 11 meters, a gate height of 21 meters, a length of 66 meters from east to west, and a width of 50 meters from north to south. After the museum is completed, it will be mainly used to collect and display the cultural relics unearthed in Yecheng, promote the history and culture of Yecheng, undertake the research and dissemination of the history of Yecheng, and double as the Yecheng archaeological workstation.
