Go to the temple with friends in a couple of days. If there is anything that needs attention, ask God for advice!
Buddhist temple is a clean holy place. Non-Buddhists must pay attention to the following nine questions when entering the temple:
First, clothes should be neat, not just vest, shorts, shirtless and slippers.
Second, when religious ceremonies are held in temples, you can't make any noise or interfere.
Third, without the permission of the deacon in the temple, you are not allowed to enter the monk's hut (dormitory) and other places casually.
Fourth, in order to keep the Buddhist land clean, it is forbidden to bring all meat and its products into the temple.
Fifth, monks and nuns can be called "master", or they can add the word "teacher" after their professional titles, such as master, Na Wei teacher, intellectual teacher, etc. It is customary to be called a mage or teacher. If you need to write, don't write "master", write "master".
Six: You can't ask the names of monks and nuns. Because monks and nuns are all surnamed Shi after they become monks, they are given dharma names by Master after they become monks. When accepting the precepts, the teacher gives the teacher a name. Therefore, when asking the names of monks and nuns, you can ask, "Master, what's your name?" His faction is above, and his name is below. Out of respect, Master dared not call her by her first name, so she used Xia Shang.
Seven, the temple bells and drums and other musical instruments, is dedicated to practice or collection, and must not be knocked at will. Anyone who knocks at tourist attractions is a death knell. The temple bells and drums are sacred instruments to awaken the ignorant and cannot be blasphemed.
Eight, if you need to use fasting in the temple, you should obey the arrangement of volunteers or temple owners, orderly, and don't make any noise. Before fasting, you can recite it with everyone. If you can't read, you can listen with your hands folded. You can only use gestures when adding vegetables. For specific gestures, you can ask the Buddhist lay people around you how much they eat. Don't waste it After fasting, you should also recite it with everyone. If you can't read, you can put your hands together. Don't think you can eat one.
Non-Buddhists should not shake hands with monks and nuns. Because this does not conform to Buddhist etiquette, monks and nuns often take "folding" as a gift.
