What's the difference between carpooling and renting a car to drive to Tibet?

Another way is to drive to Tibet, which will be more energetic. You can go wherever you want and stay as long as you decide. However, it is risky to go to Tibet by car, because you are not familiar with the road conditions in Tibet.
