This ancient town is Linhuan ancient town, also known as ancient tea town, located in the south-central part of Suixi County, Huaibei City, Anhui Province. This is an ancient town with a history of thousands of years. Why is it called Linhuan Ancient Town? Because Linhuan City is built on water, it is called Linhuan. The ancient town has won the honorary titles of "Famous Historical and Cultural Town in Anhui Province", "Hometown of Folk Culture and Art in China" and "Tourism Town with Characteristic Landscape in Anhui Province", and many tourists come to visit it every year. So what tourist attractions are there in the ancient town?

The first place is Linhuan Ancient City, which is a national key cultural relics protection unit. There is a gate in the southeast and northwest of the ancient city, and there are turrets in the four corners. There are six beacon towers in Xicheng, three in Dongcheng, and no beacon towers in Chengnan and Beicheng. The ancient city is surrounded by water, with moats in the north and east, Huihe in the south and trenches in the west. As an ancient city, there must be defensive measures, such as the ancient city walls. In addition to the ancient city wall, there are many supporting military facilities and various buildings on the city wall.

The second place is Wenchang Palace, the former site of the General Front Committee of Huaihai Campaign and a red tourist attraction. The building was built in the Tang Dynasty. After many times of construction, Wenchang Palace with blue bricks and gray tiles and slope top structure is still preserved. Wenchang Palace has a total area of 5,436 square meters. There are three contents in the museum: the original site of the General Front Committee, historical materials and objects, which show people the red history and collect more than 200 revolutionary cultural relics.

The third place is the Chenghuang Temple, located in the middle of Linhuan Ancient City, which was built during the reign of Yongzheng and Gengshen in Qing Dynasty. Today, the remaining Chenghuang Temple is a quadrangle with distinctive architecture and decoration, with small green bricks, checkered doors and windows, octagonal eaves columns, lotus patterns on the column base and dragon and phoenix patterns on the windshield. Unfortunately, the original murals in the main hall have been destroyed and cannot be appreciated.

The fourth place is Linhuan Teahouse. Linhuan tea originated in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and teahouse appeared in the Tang Dynasty. Teahouses are mostly built near the street, and the buildings are mostly blue bricks with small tile cornices, which have the architectural style of Ming and Qing Dynasties. Now there are teahouses here, including Yixin Teahouse, Nange Teahouse and Huaihai Teahouse. When you are tired of playing, you can choose a teahouse to sit down and drink tea, and calm down and listen to music.
