Wuzhen Travel Guide, Accommodation and Transportation

Wuzhen, located in Tongxiang City, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, is a 5A-level tourist attraction. Wuzhen has a beautiful environment and is known as the "Land of Fish and Rice". It is one of the six ancient towns in Jiangnan. Transportation lines

Wuzhen is divided into North Gate, South Gate, East Gate and West Gate. The first one to open was Dongzha; Tashi is the best place to open and is also the main place for tourists; the North Gate and South Gate are not fully developed yet. Compared with the East Gate and West Gate, the South Gate is more "original". With the addition of small shops, the scenery is completely like a water town in the south of the Yangtze River. In fact, Wuzhen is a small place and does not have its own dedicated airport. Generally, you fly to Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport and then take a bus from Xiaoshan Airport to Wuzhen. The ticket from Xiaoshan Airport to Wuzhen is 45 yuan. If you are going from the passenger terminal in Hangzhou to Wuzhen, the ticket is 32 yuan. After arriving at Wuzhen Passenger Terminal, get off the bus and walk 50 meters to take bus K350. For two yuan, you can reach the Wuzhen Tashi Scenic Area Service Center in about ten minutes.

Accommodation tickets

There are two forms of accommodation in Wuzhen, one is to stay in a B&B, and the other is to stay in a hotel in Tashi Scenic Area. If you stay in a B&B, the price is relatively affordable. BB: Overnight stay in Wuzhenzi BB. The room is clean, quiet at night, and the service is great! The store owner will personally take you to the scenic spots and prepare fruits for you. The most satisfying thing is the breakfast at BB’s house. The picture below is the breakfast at his house. The hotels in Wuzhen Tashi Scenic Area are all managed by the Wuzhen Tourism Bureau and are very formal. Although prices are high (this is a fact), I still recommend everyone to stay in Tashi. Generally we will book Tong'an Inn (all hotels in Tashi can be booked on Wuzhen's official tourism website). It is the cheapest hotel in Tashi (except the youth hostel), and I think the location is also very good, and it is very convenient to get in and out. The lowest price in Tong'an Inn is 700~800 yuan per night (yes, you are right, this price is the lowest in Tashi Hotel). Tong'an Inn is divided into Building 1, Building 2 and VIP Building. Check in at the Wuzhen Service Center when checking in, and your luggage can be sent to the hotel for free. Tickets for Wuzhen: 120 yuan. No tickets are required for the west gate, east gate, south gate and north gate of Wuzhen.

Tours in Dongzha

There is a dedicated free shuttle bus from Tashi to Dongzha Scenic Area. Just pick it up at Tashi's door. Dongmen also has many Wuzhen specialties. We recommend you go to a kimchi shop. If you like rice as a side dish, you can check it out. My grandma loves the pickles there and buys some every time she goes there. There are many B&Bs in Dongmen, which can be booked on various apps. However, the environment and facilities should be relatively simple. Tourists living in Tashi can use face recognition to return to Tashi and go to the hotel when going to Dongzha or going for a walk. Just remember to get the face recognition certificate next to the Upper sightseeing bus.
