Jinsha River in Suijiang County 1

Upper Yangtze River, Jinsha River, Suijiang County, China. After the water system at the source of the Yangtze River merged into the Tongtian River, it entered the Hengduan Mountain area of Yushu County, Qinghai Province, and began to be called the Jinsha River. It flows through northwest Yunnan Plateau and southwest Sichuan until Yibin in southwest Sichuan Basin accepts Minjiang River, with a total length of 2.3 16 km and a drainage area of 340,000 square kilometers.

Because it flows through the Hengduan mountain area with high mountains and deep valleys, the water rushes down to the southeast and suddenly turns to the northeast near Shigu in Lijiang Naxi Autonomous County, Yunnan Province, forming the famous Tiger Leaping Gorge. The height difference between the mountains on both sides of the river and the river surface is 2.500? 3000 meters is one of the deepest canyons in the world.

2. Terraces in Suijiang County

The town has jurisdiction over five villagers' committees in Shilong, Silver Carp, Xintan, Yinchang and Xishi, 1 18 villagers' groups, 1 neighborhood committees and 3 residents' groups, with 5,754 households and 23,780 people.

Nan 'an Town, where Mahu Prefecture is located, was once a prosperous central market town in history, and its development has experienced three ups and downs. From A.D. 1267, Ma Hu Fu was established in Nan 'an and changed into an administrative district, and Ma Hu Fu moved to Pingshan, Sichuan, which led to the first decline of Nan 'an Town.

However, due to its unique economic and geographical location-the starting point of the Yangtze River shipping, and the open and flat terrain, Nan 'an built another street in the Qing Dynasty, including a tobacco house, a teahouse, a hotel, an oil mill, a township office, a prison and other institutional facilities, and built Manjuji, Wu Tong Temple and Zhiyu Temple. At the beginning of the 20th century, Nan 'an flourished again and became the center of the surrounding areas. A fire in the 1930s was consumed.
