Is it better to find a tour guide or play by yourself when going to the Qing Dongling?
Here, Xiaosheng especially recommends traveling in September for the following reasons:
(1) Since Ms. Zhao Yingjian and Mr. Li Yin introduced the Qing Dongling in CCTV 1 Lecture Room, there have been one tourist bus after another from Beijing, so it is recommended to avoid holidays and weekends.
(2) In June, children who have completed the college entrance examination are bound to run around the world. Understandably, it's been suppressed for three years. No one can guarantee that the scholars who study liberal arts will not join forces to visit the emperor's grave in the Qing Dongling.
(3) In July and August, summer vacation came and there were more people. Xiunv walks all over the street, and there are as many scholars as dogs.
(4) In October, Beijing has begun to cool down. Wearing only a pair of jeans is not enough to keep out the cold, and bringing more clothes is obviously not in line with the character of "lazy donkey".
(5) Most importantly, according to my four-year field visit experience, I found that there were too many rainstorms in the Qing Dongling from June to August, and I couldn't go out for several days. Even during the day, it is quite gloomy and not suitable for shooting on location. Think about it, you came all the way to avoid the tourists, and finally had the opportunity to "only take pictures of scenery, not people". As a result, you either couldn't go out at all, or the photos you took were all gray or distorted. Isn't it crying?
(6) I personally feel that September is the most suitable month: there are few people, so it is time for those who go to work to go to work, and it is time for those who go to school to go to school. The temperature is suitable, cool, with few luggage and clothes, and it is convenient to take a bath when staying. The weather is very good, and it is almost always sunny during the day, which is very suitable for shooting location. Of course, it doesn't rule out the occasional thunderstorm at night, and its probability is basically negligible.
basic equipment
since it's a self-help tour, of course, it's a light backpack. Here, Xiaosheng introduces the travel equipment of his "lazy donkey".
(1) certificate-ID card (put it carefully! Check it n times a day in Beijing! ), bank card (it is recommended to bring two, or what if it is degaussed? ), tickets (together with ID cards and bank cards, these are worthless things that are lost but unable to move), cash (hidden safe parts, which are not easily exposed), and change (3 yuan is enough, which is convenient to use and attracts thieves' firepower).
(2) electrical appliances-mobile phones, mobile phone chargers, digital cameras, digital camera batteries (it is recommended to configure more batteries, which is the bottleneck), digital camera chargers (it is recommended to bring two) and SD cards.
(3) sundries-changing clothes (wear one set, bring two sets), toilet paper, wet wipes (simple cleaning and hygiene can be carried out when eating outdoors), umbrellas, sunglasses, masks (some areas of the Ching Dong Mausoleum are undergoing renovation and construction, which is very dusty), hair dryers (clothes and shoes can be dried in case of rain). It is suggested to configure high-power ones according to the standards of emergency rescue and disaster relief, because small ones may trip protectively before blowing twice, and it can piss you off in an emergency! )
(4) drugs-sunscreen, band-aid, berberine tablets (be careful of vomiting and diarrhea due to unsanitary diet), erythromycin ointment (mosquito bites are inevitable outdoors).

what I listed here is only "basic equipment", and the specific situation is rich and frugal. As long as you are not too tired, you can also carry your own wardrobe!
itinerary
There are many itinerary plans for going to the Qing Dongling, so friends in go on road trip should check for Du Niang themselves. Here, I would like to briefly introduce my itinerary.
(1) Go to Beijing from your city.
(2) If you get off at Beijing West Railway Station, you can immediately take Bus No.52 at the bus interchange attached to the railway station and get off at Muxidi Station. About 2 meters next to the bus platform is Muxidi Station of Metro Line 1. Put in a word here: the Capital Museum is within 5 meters nearby.
(3) If you get off at other railway stations in Beijing, please ask yourself to go to the subway station.
(4) Take the subway and get off at sihui station, Metro Line 1. Note that it is "four benefits", not "four benefits to the East".
(5) When you get out of the subway station, Sihui coach station is just across the street.
(6) Buy a long-distance bus ticket to Zunhua with your ID card, the fare is 48 yuan, the journey is about 13 kilometers, and it takes 4 hours.
(7) Tell the coach driver in advance to let you off at Shimen Toll Station.
(8) At Shimen Toll Station, many local cars will come forward to chat and solicit customers. Because it is about 3 kilometers away from the ticket office of Qing Dongling and 1 kilometers away from Dingdong Mausoleum, Ci 'an Cixi, the core area, it is recommended to take a ride in order to save time and energy. Directly from Shimen toll station to Cian Cixi Dingdong Mausoleum, the transaction price is about 2 yuan.
(9) When the self-help tour ends and you want to return to Beijing, there is only one long-distance bus to Beijing at 6 o'clock every day in front of Shipaifang in Yuling Yuda Village, Qianlong. If you miss this bus, you can take the minibus "Zunhua to Qing Dongling" at Ci 'an Cixi Dingdong Mausoleum parking lot for about half an hour to buy a ticket at zunhua city coach station and return to Beijing.
Tickets for Qing Dongling
According to official website's introduction, the latest ticket price is 122 yuan for adults. The elderly, the disabled, students (not including graduate students) in 62 yuan. Optional Project 1 yuan, Sacrificial Ceremony of Xiaoling Mausoleum in Shunzhi. Optional project: 3 yuan, environmental protection battery car in Lingqu.
I have several explanations about the tickets for the Qing Dongling:
(1) Tickets for the Qing Dongling are not only available in the ticket hall, but also at the Longen Gate of the Emperors' Mausoleums. Mausoleum lovers can buy tickets nearby according to their own itinerary, visit time, accommodation location and other specific conditions.
(2) Tickets for the Qing Tombs are checked at the Long 'en Gate of the Emperors' Tombs and the Palace Gate of the Emperors' Gardens, mainly to visit the Long 'en Hall, Fangcheng Minglou, Baoding, Underground Palace and Emperors' Emperors' Coffins enclosed inside. Other peripheral mausoleum buildings, such as stone archway, Shengde Monument Pavilion, Stone Statue Student, Dragon and Phoenix Gate, Stone Arch Bridge, Xiama Brand and Tombstone Pavilion, can be visited for free.
(3) At present, the Empress Mausoleum and Princess Garden in the Qing Dongling are: Xiao Zhuang Zhaoxi Mausoleum, Shunzhi Xiaoling Mausoleum, Kangxi Jingling, Qianlong Yuling Princess Garden, Cianding Dongling and Cixi Dingdong Mausoleum.
(4) At present, the tombs and palaces of the Empress of the Qing Dynasty are: Xiao Hui Xiao Dongling, Emperor Gui Garden in Kangxi Jingling, Princess Gui Garden in Kangxi Jingling, Princess Gui Garden in Xianfeng Dingling, Princess Gui Garden in Xianfeng Dingling, Princess Hui in Tongzhi, Princess Gui Garden in Tongzhi Huiling and Princess Min Garden in Duanmin.
(5) There are also a large number of imperial tombs, ministers' tombs and nannies' tombs buried with the tomb in the East of Qing Dynasty. Now, they are basically deserted graves, and interested grave friends can visit them. I have visited Rong Qinwang Garden Bedroom, Prince Yuxian Garden Bedroom, Prince Pure Jing Garden Bedroom, Prince Richmond Garden Bedroom, King Garden Bedroom of Zhijun County, Crown Prince Duanhui Garden Bedroom, Aunt Sumala Garden Bedroom, Fu Dali's Tomb, Mu Chengge's Tomb, Fu Heng's Tomb, Fu Kangan's Tomb, Lady Feng Sheng's Tomb, Lady Zuo Sheng's Tomb, and Lady You Sheng's Tomb.
Accommodation in the Mausoleum
Since everyone has the courage to call themselves "lovers of the Mausoleum of the Qing Dynasty", they are bound to disdain hanging out with the group for half a day before returning to Beijing. Here, I will briefly introduce the accommodation problem in the mausoleum area of the Qing Dongling.
(1) The purpose of staying in the Mausoleum of the Eastern Qing Dynasty is by no means to ask everyone to set up tents in the graveyard. Since the construction of Xiaoling Mausoleum in the emperor shunzhi, there have been living people living in the Mausoleum. First the construction unit, then the sacrifice unit. Of course, the high officials guarding the mausoleum don't sleep with the dead emperors. They all went to Malanyu Town, about five kilometers away. Oh, oh, that's beside the point. Take it back. In the Qing Dynasty, in order to facilitate sacrifice and guard the mausoleum of the Empress Dowager, a barracks was built next to the emperor's grave for officials and eight banners soldiers to live in. Up to now, the "circle" of looking after graves for Qianlong has evolved into Yuda Village and Yuxiao Village. The descendants of these tomb guards opened many farmhouses.
(2) The farm house of Qing Dongling recommended by Xiaosheng is called "Changrui Farm House", which is located next to the memorial archway of Yuxiao Village and about 1 meters away from Cixi Dingdong Mausoleum. The transportation is very convenient. The proprietress is hospitable, the room is clean, there is a TV, air conditioning, a solar water heater bathroom and catering. Here, I solemnly declare: I recommend this farmhouse purely for friendship and support, and I am not instructed by others, and I have not received any monetary benefits.
(3) Of course, the rich can stay in a star-rated hotel next to the memorial archway in Yuda Village, hehe.
Qing Dongling's diet
Qing Dongling is an important place for the royal tombs of the Qing Dynasty, so almost all the grave guards are Manchu, so the diet here is also very Manchu. In the mausoleum area, I saw several advertisement boards that read "To host a Manchu banquet, eight bowls of Manchu, and roast whole sheep", but I have no money and can't afford to eat, 55555 ...
Here, I will briefly introduce the "poor diet", and I can skip the money and go directly to the next section.
(1) Between the memorial archway of Yuda Village and the memorial archway of Yuxiao Village, the two villages are bounded by a road. The starting point of the road is a T-junction, where there is a small restaurant called Liyuan Restaurant. The "chili pepper Chicken" in this restaurant tastes good.
(2) Walk from Liyuan Restaurant to the village, and walk for about 2 meters. There is a food stall to buy "noodles". My personal feeling: the noodles are not delicious and very hard. Condiment pepper is cooked whole in brine, black, add it casually, and the taste is ok.
(3) Walk from Liyuan Restaurant to the village for about 5 meters. There is a small supermarket with complete things and reasonable prices. If you are not used to the local diet, you can buy instant noodles, sausages, drinks, buns and so on.
(4) Walk from Liyuan Restaurant to the village, and walk for about 3 meters. There is a steamed bun shop and one in .5 yuan, which tastes ok. There is also a "mutton soup" for sale, and a bowl of 1 yuan. You can try it if you haven't drunk it.
(5) For a few picky eaters, I won't make you hungry. Take the minibus "Zunhua to Qingdongling" which runs about half an hour in the parking lot of Cixi in Dingdong Mausoleum, Ci 'an, and go to Lanyang Shopping Mall in Malanyu Town. The journey takes about 2 minutes. There are restaurants, supermarkets, snacks, roast ducks, hamburgers, Internet cafes and hospitals ...
...
Oh, I almost forgot, and I returned to Qingdongling from Malanyu Town. If you miss it, you can only take a slow walk back to the Qing Dongling, the journey is about 5 kilometers, 5 kilometers ...
