Yinchuan Travel Guide

First of all, I am a native of Yinchuan. On behalf of the people of Ningxia, I welcome you to visit Ningxia.

Look at some of your famous attractions that you have not included. I will add them for you. I suggest you travel by car. Or rent a car. To be honest, the development of tourist buses in Ningxia is not satisfactory. It will be very convenient to have a car.

Traveling from north to south, you will feel the differences between Ningnan and Ningxia and the customs of Ningxia. Let’s start without saying too much about favors

Itinerary:

Day 1: Yinchuan City In the morning, go to Yinchuan City. I suggest you go to Mingcui Lake and Lapus Forest Park. The reputation of the Chinese Return to Home Garden at Hai Happy Island is pretty good. One day is enough and we will go back to Shizuishan that evening

The next day: Shahu Lake is Ningxia’s signature attraction. I suggest you go there in the morning and go back in the afternoon. You will find your trip worthwhile.

The third day: Go to Suyukou Forest Park in the morning (don’t climb the No. 1 Bridge in the World there, it’s not cost-effective). There are quite a few scenic spots inside, such as the Rabbit Pit, Cherry Valley, etc. It's probably enough for you to walk around for a day. If you're tired from climbing, go back and rest early. Of course, if you have the energy, you can go and see the famous Helan Mountain rock paintings, but my personal feeling is just average.

Day 4: Go to Rolling Bell (Ningxia) in the morning People generally call it Xiaokouzi (it is also a mountain). The scenic spot is slightly smaller than Suyukou. You can go there in the morning and go to Zhenbeibao Western Cinema in the afternoon. It is highly recommended. It is a testimony of Ningxia movies going global. Tickets are slightly expensive but Worth a visit

Day 5: Go to visit the Twin Pagodas at Sikou in the morning and then go all the way south to the 108 Pagoda first (I don’t think there is much to see in Qingtongxia). I don’t recommend you go there and then go to Huangsha Ancient Ferry. There you will appreciate the unique style of the Yellow River. It is highly recommended to take pictures when the sun sets, it is so beautiful! ! It is not recommended that you go back to Shizuishan that night but go south to Zhongwei City. Don’t worry, Ningxia’s consumption level is not high. It won’t cost much to stay in a hotel.

Day 6: Tonghu Grassland and Shapotou. Both scenic spots are in Zhongwei City. You can decide the order according to your personal preference. The Yellow River bungee jumping and sliding locks in Shapotou are highly recommended. I don’t know if you dare to do it. If you still have time after playing, there is a high temple in Zhongwei city with a long history. You can go there and visit. After shopping in the evening, we directly drove to Guyuan City to stay there

Day 7: Go to Liupan Mountain to play and drive there. The scenery is very nice. There is also a Red Army Long March Memorial Hall that you can visit. Finally, drive back to Shizuishan and the end of the trip

The above should include all the fun attractions in Ningxia, but I personally feel that time will be very tight. After all, Ningxia is neither big nor small. It is very difficult to visit them all in 7 days. I suggest that you can visit Suyukou. You can choose one between Ningxia and Gunzhongkou. The scenery is almost the same. There is no need to go to both.

Let’s talk about food.

A special feature of Ningxia’s food is that it is “halal”. In layman’s terms, it means that you don’t eat pork. Never ask why there are no pork dishes in halal restaurants. Hui people care about these and the food tastes very good

I am from Yinchuan and I am not strictly a foodie, so I only eat in Yinchuan. I have some knowledge and recommend you to visit these stores

Yinchuan City: Laomao Shou Zhua (Guoqiang Shou Zhua), choose one and go to Yingbinlou (Halal Shabu Shabu Hotpot). There is also a special snack called Spicy Hot Pot. The appearance is average but the taste is quite good. I recommend the small shops in Huaiyuan Market (500 meters north of the intersection of Wencui North Street and Beijing East Road). There are many shops at very affordable prices

Other places recommend the mutton in Yanchi. The oil cake sold in the small shop next to the mosque is pronounced "sai zi" like this, but I don't know how to write it. . . Forgive me. You'll know once you ask them. . .

After seeing this, you will wonder why all the mutton I recommend is mutton. That’s right. Ningxia’s mutton is very famous. As a Yinchuan native, I can be proud to say that except for Inner Mongolia and Ningxia mutton, mutton from other places. In comparison, the taste is like dregs with a combat power of less than 5. Hehe~ I suggest you buy some for your family to try. Of course, when buying, go to a regular store to buy fresh meat.

In addition, Guyuan’s buckwheat noodles are delicious. It’s not bad (I’m not sure which of the last two words it is... I may have typed it wrong)

Zhongwei’s Selenium Sand Melon also tastes quite good and the quality is quite good among watermelons. It was used as a special supply for the 2008 Olympic Games. It is strongly recommended that you try the fruit

Then there are other things to note

First of all, the climate here is very dry and the ultraviolet rays are relatively strong. You can bring a parasol and sunscreen when you go out

Secondly, Ningxia is a minority autonomous region. When traveling here, you must pay attention to ethnic customs and be careful not to get into trouble

Finally, I would like to recommend Ningxia’s specialties to you

Ningxia’s specialties can be called “Five Treasures”. ” They are wolfberries known as “red, yellow, blue, white and black” Ningxia’s “Five Treasures” (you should know that the best location for Zhongning’s wolfberries is very close to Zhongwei. Of course, they can also be bought in Yinchuan. Better wolfberry), licorice, Helan stone, tan sheepskin (second-fur skin) (it looks good and is not expensive, suitable for women), Nostoc.

Finally, you will find that I didn’t tell you how to get to the scenic spots. Well, I actually wanted to be lazy. . .

But you don’t have to worry about Ningxia. You won’t lose the approximate location if you run around. You will definitely know where it is. Just roll down the window and ask people. The people in Ningxia are very kind and hospitable. Hehe~

Okay, let’s summarize it here. I wish you a happy stay in Ningxia!

PS: If you have any questions that are unclear, you can ask and I will introduce them to you

Code writing is really tiring
