Let’s check out the “hidden corner” of Xi’an in “Installation”
The TV series "Zhuangtai", which describes the lives of the lower class people in Shaanxi, aroused heated discussion as soon as it was aired. It was commented that it was a promotional film for Shaanxi culture and tourism. Indeed, from the play, we Shaanxi people can recognize several famous scenic spots in Xi'an at a glance: the Ming City Wall, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the moat, the Bell Tower, Yongning Gate, and Xingqing Palace, but there are still a few scenes that may require careful study. After identifying them, let’s take a look at these beautiful scenes hidden in hidden corners.

2. Doujiao Village in the South of Ziwu Valley
The location of Dundun’s family in the play is Doujiao Village in the South of Ziwu Valley. There are two Ming and Qing city towers (north and south) left in Nandoujiao Village. The city gate tower was built in the late Ming Dynasty and is now included in the first batch of protection lists for outstanding modern buildings in Xi'an. The village gatehouse is simple and beautiful, tall and spectacular. The old streets of Nandoujiao still retain their original appearance. Walking on the simple old streets is like returning to childhood memories. Dundun's house is the first one on the west side of Nanchengmenli Road, opposite the village history museum. The old house is well preserved. It is difficult to find ancient houses now, and it is even harder to find a village that can maintain such ancient customs and folk charm. Today, there is a historical relic of "two cypresses and one stone" 200 meters south of the castle. The ancient cypresses have green branches and have experienced many vicissitudes of life. It is a witness to the rise and fall of Ziwu Ancient Road. There is a stone statue under the ancient cypress, which the locals call "She Gongye".
