The visa authorities in India are the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of the Interior and the Office for Foreigners Management under the Ministry of the Interior. FRRO is located in every state, city and international airport in India.

Embassies and consulates in China only accepts visa applications directly from diplomatic and official passport holders. All ordinary passport holders who apply for an Indian visa are handled by the Indian Visa Application Center.

Precautions:

1, expiration date and stay.

The validity of a visa refers to the period during which the holder can enter India, and the period of stay refers to the period during which the holder can stay in India after entering the country. The Indian visa will take effect from the date of issuance.

If the duration of stay is indicated on the visa, you should enter the country within the validity period of the visa, and the time of stay in India from the date of entry cannot exceed the duration of stay indicated on the visa. At the same time, you must leave India within the validity period of your visa, regardless of whether you stay for the time specified in the visa period.

If the duration of stay is not indicated on the visa, it means that the validity period of the visa is consistent with the duration of stay, that is, you can enter India within the validity period of the visa and stay until the last day of the validity period of the visa.

2. Apply for visa extension in time.

If necessary, you can apply for visa extension in India. The application for visa extension should be handled by the Indian reception unit. Generally, an application should be made to the Indian Ministry of the Interior first, and then a letter of approval from the Indian Ministry of the Interior should be sent to the Foreign Affairs Office (FRRO) for specific procedures. Visa extension should be handled before the visa expires. If the visa has indicated that it cannot be extended, you must leave the country before the visa expires.
