The development direction of industrial tourism

Based on the analysis of the first batch of national industrial tourism demonstration sites approved by the National Tourism Administration, we can find the following laws:

(A) from the perspective of geographical distribution

The geographical distribution of industrial tourist spots in China is basically consistent with industrial development, that is, they are developing rapidly in old industrial bases and emerging industrial cities. In the first batch of 103 industrial tourism demonstration sites announced by the National Tourism Administration in 2004,1/enterprises with strong economic development in Zhejiang Province were selected, the number of which was the highest in China. Nine enterprises in Liaoning Province and eight enterprises in Jilin Province, the old industrial bases in Northeast China, were selected, ranking third and fourth respectively, while six enterprises in Shandong, Guangdong and Anhui were tied for fifth place. Fifty-six enterprises in the above six provinces were selected, accounting for more than 50% of all demonstration sites, while few enterprises in the western region with weak economic foundation.

(B) From the perspective of industry distribution

103 most of the industrial tourism demonstration sites are industry leaders, such as Sichuan Changhong, Qingdao Haier, Shanghai Baosteel and Shanxi Xinghua Village. Among them, 18 is the largest number of brewing enterprises, followed by automobile, locomotive, ship and aircraft manufacturing, thunderstorm, hydropower and power generation, all of which are 12, oil, coal and mineral mining 8, ceramics, medicine, electrical appliances and steel manufacturing 7, food and beverage, handicrafts, clothing, shoes and hats 6.

Through comparative analysis, we can see that the development of industrial tourism enterprises often requires the following conditions:

1. The city where the enterprise is located has a good economic foundation, convenient transportation and strong accessibility. Cities with better industrial tourism development often become tourist cities themselves.

2, the enterprise itself has a brand, well-known. Enterprises are in a leading position in the whole market. The products produced by enterprises are either high-tech products (such as satellite launch base, Airbus A320, large thrust rocket) or popular products (beer, automobiles, etc.). What the public cares about and contacts frequently can satisfy tourists' thirst for knowledge and curiosity, but the production enterprises in between are not very attractive to tourists.

3. The enterprise's industrial tourism does not conflict with the product production, which brings little cost increase, or industrial tourism can help enterprises to expand the market, build brands, carry out publicity, and bring direct or indirect economic benefits. (such as Tsingtao beer)
