Introduction to Sichuan Radio and Television

Sichuan Television was established in 1958 and 1960 Launched on May 1st, it is one of the earliest provincial TV channels broadcasting from China. Starting from August 1, 2003, Sichuan Satellite TV uses the Asia-2 (100.5 degrees east longitude) satellite 9B transponder for digital signal transmission. The program covers the country, the whole province, and Southeast Asia, with a population of 560 million.

Sichuan People's Broadcasting Station was founded on October 1, 1952. It is a radio station in Sichuan Province, China.

On January 21, 2010, Sichuan Radio and Television Group, Sichuan People's Broadcasting Station and Sichuan Television Station merged to form Sichuan Radio and Television Station, but the external call signs of "Sichuan Television Station" and "Sichuan People's Broadcasting Station" were still maintained.
