Travel guide and travel notes:

On the third day of the Lunar New Year, some friends came from afar. It was almost 2 pm when we arrived. We drove all the way without eating lunch. We just had some noodles when we got home. I took them to Anshan Academy near my home.

When you come to the mountains, you naturally want to see the mountains. The mountain in Anshan Academy is not high, and it is not too tiring. You can drive all the way to the entrance of the academy, and there are all kinds of food and accommodation.

We chose to walk up, and the group of people took the children, chatting and laughing all the way, and soon we arrived (actually it was my first time there, so I didn’t know if a car could drive up there, haha).

Many houses at the foot of Anshan Academy were relocated from the county seat as a whole. I guess it is because the city needs development, and it is inconvenient to open separate cultural relics for tourist attractions. Relocation as a whole, and re-opening tourist attractions in other places can better preserve the cultural relics. Protection management (the above is purely my guess).

After going down the mountain, I went home for dinner and treated my friends to some rice wine brewed by my mother. I didn’t drink with them anymore and had to drive at night. After dinner, I took my friends to the county town.

The square is very lively, with a snack street, performances by the Yu Opera Troupe, and of course various toy stalls. I bought balloons and marshmallows for the children, and I suggested going to Tang Park for a walk.

There is a teahouse on the top of Tang Park. If you are interested, you can have a cup of tea and watch the night view of Suichang. It is also very pleasant. Tea is not expensive, 20/person. That's how the first day ended.

The next day, my mother prepared oil nuts for breakfast for my friends. This is our local traditional snack. My mother’s oil nuts are famous for their cooking. Outside.

At breakfast, I discussed with my friends to take them to eat the most distinctive local dish - Jiaotan fish head. There are many scenic spots near Jiaotan. Along the way there are Qianfo Mountain, Tangmu Garden, Dushan, and further away there are Nanjian Rock, Hongxingping, etc.

We chose Dushan Village. Firstly, Dushan Village is not far from Jiaotan. Secondly, Dushan Village has not been over-developed and still maintains its original charm. Even the indigenous people have not been relocated, so it can be better. reflect its style.

It’s just a bit far away. It takes more than an hour to drive. There are speed limits on many sections of rural roads. In addition, we are visiting relatives during the Spring Festival and there are many people worshiping Buddha in Qianfo Mountain, so the driving speed is not fast.

There is a parking lot at the head of Dushan Village. After parking the car, I asked an old lady how to get around. She was very enthusiastic and gave us advice and asked us if we needed hot water. I am very proud to say that this year the children are back to celebrate the New Year. It can be heard that grandma is really happy.

Thanks to my grandma, we followed her suggestion and started visiting this small mountain village. Along the way, the villagers we met were very enthusiastic and they would explain to us anything we didn’t understand.

Walk along a Ming Dynasty street, which is actually only about a hundred meters short (please don’t worry about whether it is really only a hundred meters), and walk all the way from the ancestral hall to the archway. The archway is by the stream. , the stream is clear and gurgling down. It is better to say it is a stream than a stream.

The children picked up small stones, played in the water for a while, and walked on the wooden bridge. When we were about to start walking back, we found that there was an ancient plank road across the road. There were three or two tourists going there, and we followed them. Unexpectedly, we began to experience an unexpected beauty.

The ancient plank road used to be a city wall , walk further in and you will reach Wuxi River. When you see the water, you naturally want to go down and play. If the weather is nice, you can take off your shoes and go down. A clear spring in the village just flowed into the Wuxi River from here, then rushed down and merged into the Oujiang River.

Walking along the ancient plank road, you begin to appreciate the beautiful scenery of Wuxi River and Dushan Mountain. Yes, we went up Dushan by mistake. Halfway through the journey, there is a viewing platform where you can see the deepest section of the Wuxi River.

At this time, I happened to meet a local villager and told me that going up the fork in the road is to the top of Dushan Mountain, where you can have a bird's eye view of the entire Dushan Village. So we went all the way up. The journey was not long, but the plank road was very steep. After walking and resting, we finally reached the top. There is a repaired pavilion on the top of the mountain for tourists to rest and enjoy the scenery.

On the way down the mountain, we did not go back the same way, but took another forked road. After we came down, we found that Opposite the parking lot. At the foot of the mountain, there is a small bungalow that is different from the mud houses in the village. It is also a small shop selling local specialties.

I learned from the shop owner that the house was a public house in the former forestry station, and they rented it here. The old man also answered our doubts: Why do the road signs say Dushan and Tianma Mountain?

It turns out that the mountain is called Tianma Mountain, because it is a single mountain and is also called Dushan. And there is another single mountain on the waist of the yellow sand, which was carried by the gods. Haha, it’s very magical.

After visiting Dushan Village, we went to Jiaotan Fish Head Street to eat the special fish head pot.

There are also B&Bs and farmhouses in Dushan Village, but Jiaotan Fish Head is famous for its reputation, so it’s natural to bring friends here for dinner.

Because I went there on the fourth day of the Lunar New Year and many stores were not open yet, I went to the first one, Xifeng’s. The overall taste was pretty good, just like our local food.

Whether you buy Dushan Village specialties or eat in Jiaotan, the prices are reasonable. They are not particularly expensive because it is a scenic spot or during the Spring Festival holiday, and there is no phenomenon of robbing people, so friends from out of town don’t have to worry about being charged. slaughter. I think this is one of the reasons why Suichang has the most repeat tourists according to the Tourism Bureau survey.
