Introduction to Shaoyang TV Station

Shaoyang Radio and Television Station 1 was jointly established on March 12, 2000 by Shaoyang People's Broadcasting Station (official broadcast in 1956) and Shaoyang Television Station (started in 1986). Shaoyang People's Broadcasting Station officially broadcast in 1956 and is the earliest mass media in Shaoyang City. After 60 years of ups and downs, Shaoyang People's Broadcasting Station has opened a new chapter. There are currently 2 sets of broadcasting frequencies: Shaoyang Traffic Channel and Shaoyang Music Channel. Shaoyang TV station started broadcasting in 1986. There are currently 4 sets of TV channels: comprehensive news channel, political and legal people's livelihood channel, economic and tourism channel, and life information channel. Shaoyang Radio and Television Station covers the cable TV network in nine counties and three districts of the city through optical fiber transmission; through a wireless 10-kilowatt signal transmission tower and a 1-kilowatt relay station built in Wugang Yunshan 2 (1,400 meters above sea level), the adjacent Loudi, Yongzhou, Some areas such as Hengyang and Guangxi can also clearly watch the exciting programs of Shaoyang Radio and Television Station.
