Where is Capri Island?

Italy's Capri Island has been a famous tourist attraction since ancient Roman times. Augustus the Great landed on the island on his way home after the Eastern War and was impressed by the beautiful environment and pleasant climate here. He did not hesitate to exchange four times the size of Ischia for Capri as his summer resort.

Some people think it should be called "Capria". "Capria" means commanding heights in Greek, because the island is full of rocks and cliffs. Another view is that Capri means goat in Italian, because the island is shaped like a goat. The third theory is that shepherds on the island graze a large number of goats. We don't know which of the third statements is correct. But anyway. Capri Island is a small island with beautiful scenery. People praised it as "the pearl of the Mediterranean".

There are two towns on Capri Island: Capri and Anacapri. China has a steep cliff and two towns. The ancient Phoenicians dug 777 steps on the cliff, and now tourists can climb the steps. However, because there are too many steps to climb, people are willing to take a bus that is only half the length of a train carriage and go along the roads dug and built on cliffs.
