How to extend the expiration of the Chinese travel permit in the country?
If foreigners need to extend their stay in China or change the type or content of their visa documents due to various reasons, they should promptly apply to the entry-exit management department of the local public security organ.
Foreigners who apply for extension or change of various visas and documents must complete the following procedures:
(1) Submit passports, visas, and documents for inspection;
(2) Fill in the extension application form or change application form;
(3) Provide proof related to the reason for extension or change;
(4) Pay visa and document fees as required.
1. Tourist visa
Tourist visa is a type of visa. It is generally a quick visa application method established to facilitate tourists and develop tourism resources. Correspondingly, it is subject to restrictions. It is also large, generally speaking, the validity period and stay period are short, and it can only be used to engage in tourism-related activities.
2. How to apply for a Chinese tourist visa that needs to be extended

Please go to the Exit-Entry Administration Office of the Public Security Bureau in your place of residence to apply for the application, household registration booklet and three 2-inch white background photos. When a citizen applies for an ordinary passport, he or she shall submit his or her resident ID card, household registration booklet, recent bareheaded photo, and relevant materials regarding the purpose of application. If a state employee applies for an ordinary passport when leaving the country for the reasons specified in Article 5 of this Law, he shall also submit relevant supporting documents in accordance with relevant national regulations.
The exit-entry administration agency of the public security organ shall issue an ordinary passport within 15 days from the date of receipt of the application materials; if it refuses to issue a passport that does not meet the regulations, it shall explain the reasons in writing and inform the applicant that he or she has the right to apply in accordance with the law. The right to conduct administrative reconsideration or initiate administrative litigation.
If a passport cannot be issued on time in remote areas or areas with inconvenient transportation or due to special circumstances, the issuance time can be extended to thirty days with the approval of the person in charge of the passport-issuing authority.
If a citizen requests expedited processing due to reasonable emergency reasons, the exit and entry management agency of the public security organ shall handle it in a timely manner.
