It is connected with the forests of Kaikukang Township of Tahe County in the east, the mountains and rivers of Mohe Township in the west, the northern edge of Jintao Town in the south, and the Amur Oblast of the Soviet Union across the Heilongjiang River in the north. The border line has been stationed since ancient times, and goes down to the mouth of the Xienikang River. It is 69 kilometers long from east to west and 45 kilometers wide from north to south. In 1906, Kalun was set up here, under the jurisdiction of the Heilongjiang Deputy Ministry. In 1934, Mohe was occupied by the Japanese army, and a police station, military police, sentries, and sentries were set up in Emul Kalun to monitor the national border and peep at Su'an. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the Emur Township Government was established in 1956. In 1958, the township was removed and the Emur People's Commune was established. In 1963, it was renamed Xing'an Commune.
6. The ruins of the Japanese and Puppet Power Plant are located on the edge of the Heilongjiang River. On the way from Arctic Village to the Arctic Post, this is a "landscape" without landscape. What visitors face is nothing but a patch of willows and shrubs. But before 1945, it was a 60-horsepower power plant built by the Japanese.
According to an old man in Mohe Township, in May 1934, about four months after the Japanese occupied Mohe, the Japanese established a gold mining company. In order to plunder China's gold faster, they believed that manual gold mining It was too slow to meet the needs of large-scale mining. We visited Huma, Mohe, Opu and other places many times and decided to build a 60-horsepower generating unit in the upper reaches of Mohe and Heilongjiang.
However, this plan did not achieve its goal. It was not until 1945 that the main equipment of the power plant was installed, but before it was put into production. On August 8 of the same year, the former Soviet Union declared war on Japan and the power plant was stopped. On August 11, Mohe was liberated. On August 13, when the Soviet Red Army withdrew from the country, they destroyed the power plant and took away all the main equipment. Even the cables buried deep in the ground were not spared.
This place is not the original site of the power plant, but upstream. A flood in 1958 washed a huge cement generator base here. The original site cannot be verified, so it is here. Set it as "Japanese and puppet power plant ruins".
6. Gucheng Island is located in Heilongjiang, 4 kilometers north of Xing'an Town, Mohe County. On the other side of the island is the city of Yaksa, now Albakino, Russia. During the Battle of Yaksa, the Qing army built earthen cities, camps and headquarters on the island, which became the bridgehead for the Qing army to regain Yaksa. It was named after the earthen forts built.
