Brief introduction of Dalingshan Forest Park

Dalingshan Forest Park is located in the south of Dongguan, northeast of the Pearl River Estuary and in the center of the Pearl River Delta Development Zone. There is Houjie in the north, opposite Guancheng, Humen and Chang 'an in the south, facing Shenzhen. The geographical coordinates are113 42' 22 "-13 48'12" and 22 50' 00 "-22 53' 32" north latitude. The landform belongs to low hills. The whole terrain is high in the northeast and low in the northwest, with an altitude of 150-450m. The highest peak is the top of Dalingshan Mountain in the north, with an altitude of 530. 1m, a relative height difference of about 150m and a slope of 15-40. There are many ponds and reservoirs in the park, nine of which cover an area of 93.6 hectares. There are Huaide Reservoir and Daxi Reservoir in the middle, Dali Reservoir in the east, and there are two small reservoirs, Shibeitou and Daban, in the site and Shidong work area. According to the county records of Guangzhou and Dongguan, Huangling is the first famous mountain in Lingnan, commonly known as Huang Qishan and Qifeng Mountain, located 35 miles south of the city. The map of Dongguan in the Ming Dynasty marked this mountain as the middle between Dongguan and the sea, which is now Dalingshan Forest Park. Today, Huang Qishan in the east of Dongguan is called Huanggongling in ancient times, which is 6 miles southeast of the city center. At the same time, the Dalingshan Forest Park in Dongguan is exactly the same as the famous Journey to the West Huaguo Mountain.
