Analysis on several situations of price elasticity of tourism supply.

A: The price elasticity of tourism supply refers to the response of tourism supply to various influencing factors. Because the tourism supply and the price of tourism products change in the same direction, its elasticity coefficient is positive. According to the elasticity coefficient of tourism supply price, it can be divided into the following situations:

(1) When ESP > 1, the change percentage of tourism supply is greater than the change percentage of tourism product price, that is, tourism supply is full of price elasticity.

(2) When ESP < 1, the change percentage of tourism supply is less than the change percentage of tourism product price, and the elasticity of tourism supply is insufficient.

(3) When Esp is infinite, tourism supply has infinite price elasticity.

(4) When Esp=0, the tourism supply is completely inelastic.

(5) When Esp= 1, the change percentage of tourism supply is equal to the change percentage of tourism product price, that is, tourism supply has unit elasticity.
