Quzhou has diverse landforms, lingering rivers and beautiful mountains and rivers. Longyou Grottoes, with its magnificent momentum and peculiar structure, is called "the ninth wonder of the world" by the media, and it is even more praised by literati as the unique "ancient Greek temple" in China. Tourism has developed rapidly. By the end of 2005, 5.3 million domestic tourists were received, up by 26.2% over the previous year, and domestic tourism revenue was 2.774 billion yuan, up by 28.4%.
