The best route for a one-day tour of Longhu Mountain

Longhu Mountain, located 20 kilometers southeast of Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province, is the ancestral home of Taoist orthodoxy. In the middle of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Zhang Ling, the founder of Zhengyi School, was an alchemist here. It is said that "Dan Cheng Long Hu, hence the name of the mountain". Longhu Mountain is the eighth world natural heritage, a world geological park, a national natural and cultural heritage site and a national 5A-level scenic spot in China.

Best route for one-day tour of Longhu Mountain:

Morning: Take a bus from yingtan to Shangqing Ancient Town, visit Changqing Square, Liu Hou Family Temple, Shangqing Palace, Tianshifu, Tianyuande Pharmacy, Ancient Street and Diaojiaolou, and have Chinese food in Shangqing.

Afternoon: Take a bamboo raft or kayak from Shangqing Bamboo Raft Wharf to Jiuquzhou, Zhengyiguan and Xianshuiyan, visit ten scenic spots along the coast of Luxi River, such as Leidashi, Sanguaishi, Longhu Mountain and Xianshuiyan, cliff tombs and mosquito-free villages in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, watch the performance of "raising coffins" on the cliff tombs of Xiangbishan Mountain, and stay in scenic hotels or return to the urban areas for accommodation.

Longhu Mountain is located 20 kilometers southwest of Yingtan City, a transportation hub in eastern Jiangxi, with very convenient transportation.

Railway: yingtan is located at the intersection of Zhejiang-Jiangxi, Anhui-Jiangxi and Xia Ying railway lines. By train, you can go directly to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Kunming, Changsha, Nanjing, Nanchang and Jiujiang.

Highway: Take the shuttle bus from the coach station on the west side of yingtan Railway Station to Salt Water Rock (5: 30- 17: 30, 15 minutes, which takes half an hour). National Highway 206 (Yantai-Shantou) and National Highway 320 (Shanghai-Ruili) run from yingtan to Longhushan.
