The construction time of the intercity railway of the Water Town Tourism Line. On the afternoon of July 13, 2022, the construction of the intercity railway of the Water Town Tourism Line started. The groundbreaking ceremony was held via video link, with the main venue set up in Jiashan County, Zhejiang Province, and branch venues set up at the start-up sites of Qingpu New City Station in Shanghai, Suzhou South Station in Jiangsu Province, and Jiaxing South Station in Zhejiang Province. The groundbreaking ceremony of the Shanghai-Sujia intercity railway water town tourism line was held at Suzhou South Railway Station in Wujiang District. The first to be launched was the pre-buried project of the Suzhou South Station of the Shuixiang Tourism Line Intercity Railway. The total length of the project is 538.1 meters. The implementation includes the foundation pit engineering, main structural engineering and structural waterproofing of the main station project.
