The next morning, 21 people from all over the world, including the team leader and supply truck, set off from Yinchuan to Inner Mongolia, walking along the thousands-mile-long Helan Mountains.

Passing through Alxa League, the vast yellow desert gradually comes into view. At first I thought it was the water of the Yellow River, as endless as the sea, but it was actually a desert.

Horses, camels, and cattle are scattered on the hillsides and roadsides. It's really fun.

Hundreds of kilometers of loess are dotted with lumps of green grass. It is said that they are grass seeds scattered in the air to prevent desertification. Some plants are sea buckthorn, specially for horses to eat. The aquatic plants are relatively rich in summer, which is the time for horses to gain fat. No wonder there are more horses.

I also saw a stone mound on the loess mound along the way. From a distance, it looked like a U-shaped necklace with gems inlaid in the middle. Hey, this metaphor is also strange.

After driving for 2.5 hours from the city, I finally stepped into the real desert area with a depth of more than 200 kilometers, and I started to get excited!

I was very lucky on the first day of hiking. It was a cool cloudy day and I had full physical fitness. I completed the 14-kilometer hike in the desert in 5 hours, which is equivalent to 1.5-1.8 times on flat land, which is about 22 kilometers. As a reward, I got a big Ningxia sand melon to eat. Yeah?

On the night of the second day, we ate fresh roast mutton and mutton soup at the herdsman’s place in the camp. The soup was fragrant and delicious.

Although the dishes here all have a flavor of garlic and onions, the good meat can be paired with anything, and it’s quite exciting! Satisfied enough!

Watching the two young men start running, I decided to take a gamble and catch up! I tried my best to jump over two or three sandy slopes, but found that there were countless slopes behind me. I was really dumbfounded. Every step I took while running, I fell down step by step, and the physical exertion was several times that of running on flat ground.
