It has been used to record the navigation tracks of hiking, cycling, cars, trains, ships and planes, and it runs in the background with less power consumption.

The recorded trajectory can be saved in four formats, such as GPX (Global Positioning System) and KML, and can be directly opened on Google Earth, Ovi Map, MapsWithMe and other map platforms, and the photos taken along the way can be automatically matched and located by GeoSetter and PhotoMapper. The file itself can also be edited manually. It is widely used.

MyTracks and above need to install a full set of Google service framework, which is too troublesome and sometimes unnecessary. Versions below 2.0 (excluding) can run independently, without Google framework or network, completely offline.
