Menglun botanical garden

Xishuangbanna Menglun Botanical Garden, the full name of Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of China Academy of Sciences, is located in Menglun Town, Mengla County. Botanical Garden is surrounded by Solo River, a tributary of Mekong River. Botanical Garden was founded in 1950s by Professor Cai, a famous botanist. The garden covers an area of 900 hectares, and there are 3000 species of tropical plants at home and abroad, all of which are growing well.

Primitive forest park

Xishuangbanna Primitive Forest Park, with a total area of 25,000 mu, is one of the largest comprehensive eco-tourism attractions in Xishuangbanna. The park combines the unique natural scenery and charming ethnic customs of the virgin forest.

Wild elephant valley scenic spot

Xishuangbanna Wild Elephant Valley is located in Mengyang Nature Reserve in the north of Jinghong, and is located in the river valley at the junction of east and west forest areas. In this million mu of tropical rain forest, there are many kinds of plants, and layers of green and tropical bamboo forests provide the most suitable habitat for the growth and reproduction of wild animals such as Asian elephants.
