Zheng Jialin, the prefect of Ning Prefecture, heard about this and personally visited Wang's residence in Xiadang Village in 1826, the 6th year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty.

Zheng Zhifu saw that it was true that five generations lived under the same roof, and that the whole family lived together, and that Mrs. Wang was a virtuous man, so he "reported it to all the magistrates of the Constitution, and the advisory department compiled a title and a banquet, and he was given a plaque to build a square, and his name was listed in the provincial annals.
